Delicious but I was sensitive to the product
I love the taste of this and the nutty texture. Soaked for 3 hrs in hot water then cooked in pressure cooker 30 minutes. Add some chicken stock at the end. Lovely! I'm sensitive to rice but I read that wild rice because it's a grass did not have the same reaction in the body as rice. I've eaten a little two days in a row and so far I'm good.Update - I ate these for two days in a row and developed a rash on my body. Unfortunately it appears that in sensitive to this food. Wild rice is actually a grass and the rash I believe is a histamine reaction to the grass. Don't let that put you off trying however.

Great alternative to normal rice
Bought this as a substitute avoid starchy high carbs, expected a very fibrous less pleasant to eat sacrifice however it is actually good eating (note food is very subjective!). My wife is not a fan of brown or actual wild rice but did like this as it is less nutty and fibrous than those and more like actual rice, somewhere in between. Again, this is just our opinion. The bad? Well, it is quite expensive and takes a long time to cook (50 mins or so) but if you can manage those and want a healthier alternative to normal rice we gave it 5stars.

Excellent taste and texture
This rice takes about 1h to cook (simmering).Very different in taste and texture than any other types of rice. The only thing that comes somehow close in terms of texture is Thai Riceberry Black Rice. The taste is different, though.Absolutely wonderful mixed with avocado.

Healthy organic wild rice
I bought this to make Instant Pot Wild Rice soup - very tasty indeed, and healthy too as it's a type of grain unlike normal rice. I made twelve generous servings, eight are now in the freezer. Only problem is I used most of the pack which is quite an expensive way to make soup! However I'm not complaining as I knew the price and pack size when I bought it and couldn't find it cheaper elsewhere. I may treat us again soon :-).

Pleasant flavour and texture
I purchased this wild rice as an alternative to ordinary rice and other grains. It is chewy and has quite a mild flavour. I do like it and have purchased this wild rice again. I find 25g is a sufficient portion size when paired with vegetables.

Firestone I tried this, will certainly buy again
My first forage into cooking/eating wild rice. Fantastic flavour (I’ve combined it with brown rice, roughly 40/60 split wild/brown rice). Cooking time is long, 40-50 minutes, yet we’ll worth it. Recommended

Different rice than the picture shows.
The rice in the pic is real wild rice. What was sent is black and isn't as nutrient dense and isn't same quality. Stay clear total rip off.
