Perfect. Exactly As Advertised and Well Packaged
I normally wouldn’t leave a review for something like this. It is what it is. BUT, I wanted to comment on the excellent packaging. I’ve ordered this from other sites and there’s always a bit of a mess in the box. But this was as clean as clean can be. It’s even in a white bag and there’s absolutely nothing on the outside. Really great.

Amazing Product
The media could not be loaded. Shipped fast. It’s a fine powder but it definitely weighs 5 lbs. you get a lot in the foil bag. You can reseal and zip the bag which is great for multi use. Be careful not to inhale the fine powder. Wear a mask. The color stains but washes off your hands easily. The magnetic property is strong and amazing. We made magnetic slime for our annual Halloween party. Worked great.

Great quality and value.
This superfine powder is perfect for making magnetic slime. It's a great value in the 5 lb. bag if you plan on making a lot of it. Do not confuse this with iron filings, which some online slime recipes use - this is a fine black iron oxide powder that will make slime that is magnetically reactive. I'm sure it has many other uses, but my last chemistry class was in high school.

good stuff for magnetic slime
This seems to be some rather high quality stuff. Wear a dust mask when using because it's very fine powder. We bought it for making magnetic PVA glue slime, but it of course has a variety of purposes including black pigment.

Works to make magnetic board
I mixed the entire 5 lb bag into 1 gallon of paint applied in 4 coats - testing between coats - the fourth coat did the trick. This covered a 4 x 8 ft plywood sheet. I like the option of picking my own paint color rather than the chalkboard or magnetic paints advertised. Remember that the black powder will darken and flatten any paint. Recommend mixing in smaller batches for each coat and using a drill stirring stick rather than mixing by hand.
