18 0z. stainless steel sturdy but light weight.
These cups have an edge that does NOT drip down the side of the cup when pouring from it. Also the bottom of the cup fits into the top of another so they can be stacked. They are the right size for my warmer and they are very sturdy. I bought 2 at first and after I realized how much I liked them I have purchased 2 more.

Works great with mug warmer
I got this mug to use with my mug warmer, since it has a thin, flat bottom and metal conducts heat better than the ceramic used for mugs. My theory was that this cup would keep my drink warm on my desk while it was on the warmer (even if it might cool down more quickly if it was off the warmer). My hypothesis was correct. Using an adjustable temperature warmer, I can keep my drink hot in this metal cup with the warming plate set to 180 degrees F. With a standard ceramic mug, I had to set the plate to 220 degrees F. I highly recommend getting one or more of these cups to use with a mug warmer if you intend to keep a drink hot for hours at a time without setting your warmer to an unnecessarily high temperature.Other reviews have mentioned that the cup gets too hot for either your lips or your hands. I have not experienced this problem. The rim and handle of the cup are warm, but I can leave my lips or hands on the rim or handle indefinitely. The only parts of the cup that get too hot to comfortably hold indefinitely are the bottom and the sides near the bottom. If the cup is 3/4 full or less, I can hold the sides of the cup in the middle or near the top without issue.

pretty good cup
Got these because they looked like an old favorite, but they are smaller. Still hold 12 ounces with room for plenty of foam on your favorite carbonated beverage. KInd of thin, but not too flimsy. Welds could fail so I'll probably brace the handles with a litte putty-type epoxy, which will also cover the metal edges that are uncomfortably sharp (but not dangerous). Wash them thoroughly, first, to remove a little polishing compound and / or metal dust that rubs off black.Overall, not a bad deal.

Okay SS cup.
The cup is okay. It is SS but thinner than expected. But you get what you pay for. I’ll look for another one but keep this.

Perfect Gift for My Son
My son is very old school and was talking to me about this kind of cup for a while. I couldn't understand why, but he loves the old army feel. So I went ahead and got it for his birthday this year. It was very well made and I'm sure he is going to love it. The item arrived quickly and was very well packaged.

Fraud Alert
This item is a fraud. It states plainly on Lindy's website that their products are made by the Amish. Mine arrived with a Made in China sticker on it. It's advertised as a 12 ounce mug -- I just put 18 measured ounces in it. It's also supposed to be 3" tall x 3 1/8" diameter. This version is 3 1/2" tall x 3 3/4 diameter. There's nothing heavyweight about it. It's 3.5 ounces and came dented. Nothing about it matches what's on Lindy's site. I've got tons of 18 ounce mugs. If that's what I was after I would have ordered just that. And no, it's not an item number mix up --Lindy's makes no 18 ounce mugs. It nests around a 32 ounce Nalgene with as much play as a GSI Glacier mug. I suppose for those who want a no handle Glacier mug you could buy this and easily take the handle off (given the poorly done spot welds) but for everyone else be aware that it's nothing like advertised or the genuine product.

Excellent lightweight SS cup, ample size, stable and wide base
Excellent lightweight SS cup, ample size, stable and wide base; I purchased two - it is great for many things, however I use it as a cup of water on my bedside table - it is a wide cup and stable if I happen to bump it in the dark reaching for it. I was very possibly a dog in a previous life, as I need water throughout the knife.
