Helped me rethink what was really right for me.
I've been in physical therapy for about 2 months for frozen shoulder and although my therapist told me I was improving, I did not see nor feel it. Plus the stretching at the end was painful and I still had frequent bouts of pain through out the day and night. I switched to acupuncture and combined with the exercises in this book, and a few from the therapy sessions that felt right,I've improved tremendously. Pain is in the past, flexibility has improved, and I feel so much more equipped with the 5 x5 for prevention. I love the focus on emotional healing in this book, which is so often forgotten or neglected. Thanks for writing this book I feel do much more confident now. KUDOS!

Worked wonders for me
Fascinating well written book that is much different than others on the subject. The author gives her take on why we might get a frozen shoulder in the first place where you can't get much on the subject elsewhere. It helped me immensely by doing the exercises she suggests along with the deeper explanations she gives from personal experience. My recurring frozen shoulder is just about gone and with the help of this book I'm never going to let it return!

Frozen shoulder: its an interesting read.
I thought it had some interesting information. This is my second bout with frozen shoulder. (last time it was on the other side) The book had a lot of goblety gook about an emotional trauma 6 months prior which seemed silly. But the idea that the freezing was functional, that the shoulder was getting too loose in the socket, and the freezing is the body's response to keep your shoulder in its socket: that was fresh perspective for me, and it makes a lot of sense. This time, I didn't do the physical therapy. And my shoulder regained flexibility more quickly.

More perspective and ideas for self treatment.
After breaking a wrist and sitting around waiting for it to heal, my shoulder became increasingly painful and started losing range of motion. This book combines interesting ideas of a broader perspective than simply just doing stretching exercises. Hopefully by following the tips my shoulder will thaw out quicker. Having just completed the book it is too soon but the advice incorporates mind body solutions as well as physical treatments.

Received timely, different approach than traditional medicine.
Received on time. This book is a different approach for sure. I have used mind tricks in the past and have found it to work. Combined with the exercises, I think this will be helful.

Indispensable!
This book is priceless - it offers simple, counterintuitive techniques that helped free my frozen shoulder. Coupling this with Chinese herbs and a couple acupuncture treatments healed me in a matter of weeks.

Buy this book and support an (alleged) crazy person!
You know that lady in your neighborhood who strongly believes in aromatherapy and essential oils? She's on her way to her fifth cat and she makes her neighbor's son in law set the DVR so she doesn't miss an episode of long island medium? Well, that lady wrote a book about healing your totally jacked up shoulder! She recommends you whisper to it to tell it heal. and then to meditate on the whispering, just for the extra help.

Five Stars
This book has exercises and insight that did more for me than 12 sessions of physical therapy.
