AlnicovGuitar Control Plate Bridge Pre-Wired for Electric Guitar Telecaster Parts

Well made, sounds great, looks great and beautifully packaged.If you want to make your guitar look (and sound) a bit different ,this is for you.

Bought this kit to upgrade my Tele copy which had ceramic pickups and cheap controls together with a 3 saddle bridge. The design is really effective and everything is quality. What a difference. Check the control plate for size if buying.

Used these in my first guitar project - refurbing an old Japanese Squier Tele that I'd let get grubby. Great looking hardware and the pick ups sound really nice too. Perhaps not as spanky as some telecaster pick ups, but by no means dull - just smoother. Also less noisy than the default pick ups in my mexican fender tele (although that could be down to the fact that I shielded the cavities with copper tape before I installed these ones).I'd never changed any hardware or soldered anything (let alone guitar wiring) in my life, and I was able to accomplish it, so really anyone can. Only two real snags. 1: that the three holes to attach the bridge to the body were in a different place to the Squier original, but I don't think that's uncommon for bridges to have different mounting points and drilling new holes was easy enough. 2: the control plate had some odd extra wires pre soldered in. The switch had little two inch wires soldered into the points where the pick ups needed to be soldered into. As a complete novice this stumped me until I just decided to get rid of them and pretend they had never been there. Similar situation with a ground wire as well I think. Anyway, I just found a wiring diagram online and got rid of the superfluous wires and then all was good when I wired it up.For the money you really can't fault this, they really do look the bees knees and the sound is super.

I have to be honest. For the money I cannot argue with the quality and presentation of this kit.The pickups are both matched well in resistance/output so work well as a pair. I make and modify guitars and have to say I'd be happy putting this set in any telecaster style build.

Less than 10 days after fitting this to a new body the chrome plating is coming off the bridge plate. Not happy as holes are now drilled! I want a replacement please!

Product arrived nice and quickly. and for around £40 complete, the standard of finish looks really good. As you can see from the picture, mine came with large Pots, and huge Orange drop cap. Hopefully it'll sound as good as it looks. So far splendid.

Received item on time, gave it to my brother,who plays guitar well pleased nice peace of kit cheers.
