Buy more than you need
The product is easy enough to apply if you have the right temperature. But I can not be sure it covers every part of my tank and I can see a patch were it did not take on the neck of the tank.I think this maybe due to having too little material.I have not fitted the tank yet so let's see how it goes

Didn't work for me. You may regret pouring this stuff, hopefully not....
I have a 25 year old tank which has rusted and pin holed along one side.Fully cleaned out all rust, etched for a day and a half, treated with mek and dried completely. Interior was as clean and rest free as I could make it.Applied this stuff and rotated tank till all covered and started to cure.A week later filled with e10 petrol and it started to peel in places after an hour.By the next day all areas with less than 2 or 3mm loose or crinkly.Where it had puddled, 4 or 5mm thick rock hard making it a total pain to remove, yet the paint still blistering where the pin holes where in these spots.Complete nightmare. Now have had to spead over £60 on 3l MEK to soak to soften so the thick bits can be removed through the filler hole.Didn't work for me, but mad4bikes responded quickly to resolve.Hopefully others have more success

Very good product
Sealed my tank in seconds, and after curing looked a professional job

Reacts over time and dissolves in petrol.
Thought this had helped solve an issue with my tank but over winter storage completely dissolved contaminating the whole fuel system requiring a complete strip down to resolve. Tank scrapped due to internal residue being impossible to remove.

seeking advice on how to remove product
I wish to talk to you directly to discuss how to remove the sealant - it has not performed as it is supposed to, it is reverting to a soft gel and is peeling off after coming into contact with fuel that was treated with Castrol Valve-Plus lead replacement additive. What is the procedure for removing it? I followed the cleaning, temperature, mixing and 14 day resting periods exactly as stipulated when applying the coating and before filling. Please advise how to get in touch with your technical team. Thank you
