As good as you've heard
Rich, vibrant pigments that flow smoothly, mix easily and blend well. While I am not a canvas or poster artist, I found this paint was easy to work with and blend. At maximum concentration it is opaque and smooth, while it thins down to semi-transparency. The paint remains active for a while after application for washing and wet blending.I personally paint miniatures and figures and found that this paint worked better than most artist paints do for this purpose, the highly adjustable viscosity of the paint makes it useful for a lot of popular miniature painting styles and techniques. At full concentration it's suitable for highlights and at low concentration it's suitable for glazes and washes. The paint is also workable for significantly longer than traditional acrylic paints, making wet blending a breeze. I haven't tried any of the yellows yet, but the incredible coverage I am getting on reds and oranges right out of the tube absolutely blew me away.I would honestly call this one of the better miniature painter starter kits on the market right now and it's not even marketed for that purpose. Five stars, ten out of ten, etc.
