My aged cat had Gingervitis of gums and stopped eating his biscuits. This is my second bottle and since first using it he is back eating his biscuits with gusto and his gums aren't tender any more. It works very well if you just keep using it. Cant recommend it enough - Joe is so much happier now.

I started using this for my 8-year-old medium mix breed dog. I add it to her water when I wash and refill her bowl. I just keep it under the sink. We also brush her teeth or use brushless toothpaste sporadically and give her VOC-approved dental chews often. Her veterinarians always says her teeth are in excellent condition and at our last visit the vet was very surprised when I said she's never had a professional cleaning. We do plan to have her teeth cleaned soon.So, I don't know for sure if this product is making a difference, but I use it as part of my dog's health teeth routine. I am very happy her teeth are in great condition and we have no issues with bad breath.My dog never seems to notice a taste and drinks her water fine.I recommend this product to others. Actually, before I used this product myself, I recommended it to my mom for her elderly dog, and I did notice that adding this to the water improved the smell of the dog's breath.I remove 1 star because the bottle is poor quality. The pump seems to have a crack because every time I dispense some product, it would leak everywhere, all over the bottle. It's sticky and slippery and hard to clean up. I ultimately had to buy a new bottle with a pump to use instead. It's not ideal because the product is measured in pumps, but based on my testing the amount dispensed from the new bottle is very close to the recommendation. The bottle I bought is from Daiso and it's much better quality so far.
