Great quality and works really well. The glass can be a bit fragile. App works well but is a bit aged. Needs to be updated. I would watch some videos to learn how to use the product better.

love coffee? then buy it, its nice and elegant product. its sturdy and easy to use.

I love the product. The lid is very loose and the additional 'smart' is not needed and a bit gimmicky.But its a beautiful hand made product.

Great design but the glass parts are very thin. I accidentally bumped the glass pitcher against the side of the sink and it cracked all the way around the bottom. My fault yes, but I’d also hope that for the price the glass parts would be nicer..

Quality product

For the difference in cost between a GINA and, say, a Chemex (about a $200 difference), you would expect the experience to be WOW. You would expect it to make it easier, faster, less fussy.You may be expecting too much. When my GINA arrived, I opened it to find that the cold-drip insert had been shoved so far down into the glass carafe that it had cracked the carafe & it was impossible to remove without causing more damage. Amazon couldn't ship replacement parts so they were kind enough to credit me so that I could order them directly from Goat Story...but this was not a good, initial impression. They seem to have some quality control issues.With that initial experience out of the way, I got down to making coffee. I've only used the pourover method -- the 'French Press' isn't really and the 'cold brew' seems futzy (I have to use _ice_ to control the speed at which the water flows? What?).The GINA makes good coffee and it's handsome sitting on the counter. Good coffee but no better than a Chemex, but good.Their app and their digital/bluetooth scale, though, are pretty raw. The scale tends to wildly fluctuate for no apparent reason -- jumping from 45g of coffee to 1050g momentarily, then back to 45g. The app requires me to create an account & logon...to make coffee. It routinely forgets settings and it has a distinct lack of smart responses (expecting, for example, that anything from 200g of water to 700g of water are all going to take exactly 4 minutes to brew).The (replacement, uncracked) carafe is also fairly thin and won't hold temperature well.

Dont waste ur money. Carafe will break on you. I guarantee it. A slight bump is all it takes.Just buy a clever dripper(for immersion) and a chemex(pour over) and pocket the extra 200 bucks.

I am very happy to have this smart type of coffee maker becaus now I have full control of the making process.Gina comes with a built in scale that connects to phone app and let you know how much coffee powder you have and to set ratio of powder and coffee made.Also with the app you can set the time of immersion.For quality of materials I am impressed because the funnel it's made from ceramic and cup from glass.I found to be perfect for making high quality coffee and I get used to use itbin every morning.

The media could not be loaded.  Parto con una premessa, in Italia c’è il culto del caffè, pertanto una caffettiera come questa difficilmente potrà conquistare il mercato italiano.La caffettiera Gina si carica con presa USB, inclusa nel box, ma in pratica è in grado solo di pesare il caffè. Nella base in cui è posata la brocca, infatti, c’è una bilancia e il peso sarà possibile vederlo sul device tramite l’App Gina.Per ottenere il caffè sulla brocca si deve posare sull’imbuto, in ceramica, il caffè macinato, avendo cura d’inserire il filtro. C’è una vite piana in ottone sulla parte frontale che serve a regolare il flusso discendente dell’acqua, più sarà stretta più il caffè andrà in contatto con l’acqua e quindi sarà più o meno “forte”.Una volta posizionato il caffè si versa su di esso acqua calda, sulla brocca in vetro di Gina finirà il caffè da bere. Ma il suo sapore e aroma non avranno nulla in comune con i nostri meravigliosi caffè espresso e della moka, l’aspetto del caffè è quello di acqua un po’ colorata.Ci sono tre metodi per ottenere "caffè diversi” per intensitù e gusto, uno dei quali è chiudere la valvola in ottone e lasciare il caffè in ammollo per poi far scendere, dopo un po’ di minuti, il caffè nella brocca.Non sono riuscita a collegare il bluetooth dell’App Gina, che ho scaricato e questo pur avendo provato più volte e malgrado la caffettiera Gina fosse carica. Credo, però, che non sia affatto necessaria l’app per quella che è la semplice procedura per fare il caffè.La premessa era necessaria, malgrado quanto sopra non mi sento di valutare negativamente la caffettiera che è di altissimo design, infatti ha ottenuto premi per la sua originalità, funzionalità e design. E’ curata nei minimi particolari e ho trovato bellissima la linea nella sua totalità.Il caffè americano viene bevuto ed è apprezzato in tantissimi paesi del mondo e concludo dicendo: De gustibus non disputandum est.Consiglio l’acquisto a chi ama gli oggetti di alto design e il caffè americano, da non sottovalutare il costo di Gina la "caffettiera".

Le design de cette "smart coffee" est en même temps exceptionnel et pourtant elle reste classique. J'étais quand même assez déçu de la carafe en verre qui est beaucoup trop fragile pour moi. Il aurait pu mettre une carafe avec un verre doublet. Sinon la machine à café fait un excellent café il est facile d'utiliser et de le connecter au téléphone. Mais je trouve que cela reste beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu'elle fait. On paye plus du design que un café exceptionnel.

Bei der Goat Story Gina handelt es sich um eine smarte Filterkaffeemaschine, welche per App bedient wird. Sie ist durch das außergewöhnliche Design ein echter Hingucker in der Küche. Die Kaffeemaschine besteht aus dem Filter (es passen die einfachen V60 Papierfilter) mit eingebautem Ventil über das man die Durchflussgeschwindigkeit regulieren kann, einer 750 ml fassenden Glasgaraffe sowie der intelligenten Waage. Mit den Maßen von: 34,5 x 16,3 x 13,5 cm nimmt sie nur wenig Platz in der Küche ein.Die einzelnen Komponenten (Kochglas, Keramik und Edelstahl) wirken alle hochwertig verarbeitet. Was allerdings stört, ist der Deckel welcher nicht wirklich eben auf dem Filter schließt. Die Maschine verfügt über 3 verschiedene Brühmethoden mit denen eher spezieller Kaffee (normales Brühen, Cold Brew und Immension) zubereitet werden kann, zudem ist es möglich Tee aufzubrühen. Um Kaffee zuzubereiten, ist es vorher nötig, den in der Waage integrierten Akku zu laden. Bei voller Akkuladung kommt man auf etwa 20 Betriebsstunden und eine Standby-Zeit von 30 Tagen, was schon ordentlich ist. Weiterhin muss man sich die zugehörige App aufs Smartphone laden, welche per Bluetooth verbunden. In der App kann man unter anderem die Brühmethode auswählen, die Kaffeemenge über die integrierte Waage dosieren und den Brühvorgang starten. Anschließend erhält man auch Informationen, wie lange es dauert, bis der Brühvorgang abgeschlossen ist. In der App erhält man zudem Rezepte mit denen man etwas experimentieren kann. Leider gibt es an der Kaffeemaschine kein weiteres Display, worüber man die Kaffeemenge bestimmen kann, weshalb man auch immer das Handy in der Nähe haben muss. Insgesamt richtet sich die Maschine eher an Kaffeeexperten, die sich ihren Kaffee ganz nach ihren Wünschen zubereiten möchten und wo Kaffeevollautomaten an ihre Grenzen stoßen.

Sehr schönes Designprodukt. Macht auf jeden Fall was her. Für Kaffeespielereien ein tolles Produkt durch die drei Arten der Zubereitung.Für mich leider nicht ganz so durchdacht was das Spritzen angeht. Wenn der Kaffee durchläuft ist auf der Kanne keine Möglichkeit, dass es nicht rausspritzt.Ein weiteres Thema, weshalb ich leider nicht so glücklich bin: das Ventil war bei mir undicht. Auch der Keramikfilter ist bei mir kaputt gegangen, als ich ihn mal lösen wollte zum säubern. Direkt gebrochen obwohl ich eher zaghaft angefasst habe.Leider ist der Filter nirgendwo als Ersatzteil kaufbar. Somit für mich die Maschine seit Wochen nicht nutzbar.
