Great clip on bass tuner
I was looking for a clip on tuner for bass to take to a jam night instead of having to take my pedal tuner and I came across this , Korg have been around for years so being a trusted brand I purchased it.It’s easy to use and the display is very clear to follow and tuning is very simple , great little bit of kit , I’d buy another if this ever broke or got mislaid .

Compact, straightforward yet accurate.
This is a really useful piece of kit, a visual aid, with a straightforward dial that helps to reaffirm where the tuning of the particularly note played is. Select A440 up or down. It picks up the vibration and sound of your instrument only when playing with others and sits easily and gently onto the bell section of the trombone in full line of vision but without obscuring it. It shows the small degrees for raising/lowering the notes and responds quickly to the note being played. Great for using when practising hearing all of those fine tunings between different intervals, in all of the keys.

ok - a bit frisky and unstable
Seems to work ok (for saxophone), but the display is a bit jittery even on "slow" mode - though the mode setting seems to have little effect. Not having a transpose feature seems an omission - though if you're THAT far out to need to know the note maybe the tuner is irrelevant! Not as good as an earlier Korg model I have (but the battery holder broke), but this uses AA battery which is a benefit rather than fiddling with button cells. The cover for the battery holder on this model is also flimsy and I don't suspect it will be long lived either - but will probably work without.So....it's ok - just about, slightly expensive maybe, and perhaps slightly disappointing all round.

Compact, precise and easy to use.
Neat and compact design works well for acoustic and electric guitars when clipped to the headstock. You can select a variety of tuning display modes to help you achieve precision and the head can be posed in several ways to make it visible during a performance if required.Calibrates well against an older lord tuner of mine and my Yamaha keyboard. I trust the tuning achieved.

Does the job better than other similarly priced products
Pretty good tuner for an excellent price. Slightly glitchy and slow at note recognition. It seems to work better clamped in different position. The limited movement of the clamp means that you can’t always see it clearly when it’s in those positions: hence 4* not 5*.

At last - a tuner that effortlessly picks up the E string on my bass.
Tuner effortlessly recognises the E string on my bass. Something that none of my other tuners do. Very accurate and allows for micro adjustments.Very visual indication of whether a string is sharp or flat.

Expensive and breaks in less than a month.
Works well, for as long as it works - Four weeks ! Then its unfixable. Amazon no help, and nor are Korg.
