5 hours of sleep night 1!
I purchased this late one night while at my wit’s end with my nearly 1 month old that wouldn’t sleep longer than 1-2 hours at a time. This arrived quickly, and the first night I used it my son slept for nearly 5 hours straight! I felt like a million bucks after so many nights being up every 1-2 hours. And by 2.5 months old he was sleeping through the night! I continued to use it until very recently, as he is almost 5 months old. This item fit just right in his bassinest, and the zip off design made it very easy to remove for cleaning. I will definitely be using this again if I have more kids, and will recommend to friends!

MUST BUY!!
Got this because my baby would not stay put in her bassinet and would wake herself up from moving around. This product was a game changer, now 6 weeks old, she is sleeping through the night. We have the HALO portable bassinet and it fits perfectly!

Great so far!
First night using it, she slept well. Gave mom and I a break. Super breathable, easy to clean and adjust. Overall happy.

Worth the money!
Both of our son's hated the Halo Bassinest and I paid way too much money for them to not like it. Unfortunately we just didn't use it for my first one, but that isn't an option with my second so I thought I would try this. I contemplated for a long time if I really wanted to spend MORE money on this project, but I have it a shot. I am SO glad that I did! We have really seen improvement in his sleeping! I can tell that he likes the way it hugs him. He still doesn't sleep perfectly, but he is 6 weeks old so I don't think the insert is to blame. But I have it a 4 instead of a 5 because I would like to see the bottom a little more padded. He still ends up on the rock hard Halo mattress. But I definitely think the extra sleep we get is worth $50!

Worth it
Have only used this for 1 night so far and already worth it. Our little preemie was actually able to sleep in her bassinet from one feeding to the next without us having to get up every 10 mins! She seems so much more comfortable and we finally got some rest after 2 weeks of struggling to find a solution.

Baby can’t roll anymore!
THIS IS NOT A HAMMOCK AND IS NOT INTENDED TO BE. The bad reviews saying it touched the bottom of the bassinet are from ignorant buyers. Hammocks are not considered a safe sleep practice and this isn’t meant to be a hammock.Anyway...Within a week home from the hospital, we started dealing with major gas issues and gastrointestinal issues. He would pull his legs back and kick them straight up in the air, giving him enough momentum to roll onto his side. After waking up with him on his side and his face pushed toward the mattress, I decided I couldn’t do that anymore. First time mom nerves had me nearly in tears.I talked with his pediatrician about this and she approved it for his use since the sides are a breathable mesh and it touches the bottom of the bassinet so it’s still a flat sleeping surface. (Again, this is not a hammock!) Even the small bumpers on either side have a low profile and can’t obstruct his face even when his head is turned as far as it can be.It keeps him on his back and I couldn’t be happier or feel more secure knowing he’ll stay that way.The peek window is a little small and I have to keep the bassinet at just a certain height and angle to see his face at night because of it, but it’s not even worth removing a star because it doesn’t really inconvenience us.I don’t think there is really any “snuggle” factor here, though. The sleeping surface is too wide to hug baby at all, but not wide enough to allow rolling. I didn’t buy it to trick him into thinking he was being held or anything, so this doesn’t matter to me, but is worth mentioning for others.Washing is a breeze. Once you install the clip portion, you don’t have to undo the clips every time, the hanging down part unzips so you can wash just that.My pediatrician did comment that it looked small, but it’s bigger in person than I thought. He’s 7 weeks and 22in long and will be able to use this comfortably for a lot longer if we want.Wonderful purchase that gave me peace of mind.

Mixed review
I love the pad to keep her from rolling over which was our fear. I don’t like that you can’t see as much with that window if her head is turned you can’t see like in the normal halo bassinet
