This was a fraction of the price of some filters, and appears to be exactly the same spec as the original Baumatic filter. Description and detailed dimensions of the locating lugs enabled me to check it matched my old filter.The overall dimensions are a few millimetres smaller than the stated 320x260mm, and also exactly matched the size of the old filter. Before ordering I was slightly concerned, because if the filter had been exactly 320x260 it would not have fitted. However the details of the lugs etc were so precise, and being less than a tenner, I decided to take a risk, and I’m glad I did.

Just received these today. Had to replace because the old ones had so much grease on them and actually started melting with the recent heat we had. Crazy. I didn't realise how filthy they were until I started seeing some grease dripping from the hood on the hob!! Let me tell you, they haven't been replaced in a very very long time and we moved in only 6 months ago. Very glad I managed to find these even if they are expensive. We had to get 2 to fit our hood so yeah, not a cheap buy. But had to be done.

Provide a good fit and does the job.

Very poor quality and fragile frame which bends very easily with the smallest amount of pressure.Fitted 1 of these when they arrived and great stuff it fitted fine or so I though, left them in the box until rest of my kitchen decoration was finished. Tried to fit both and it was a nightmare, 2nd one started to collapse with the little pressure I applied trying to fit it in almost slicing my hand open with sharp metal corners. They look nice and shiny new but build quality and quality control is questionable. For an extra £40 you can buy a whole new extractor which is what I ended up doing.

A great cost effective replacement for original extractor filter. I should definitely have done this sooner!I noticed some reviews says theirs was blue, this is just a protective wrap around the edges. It's fairly easy to remove.
