This tea pulls off a good balancing act. It’s a green tea, but it predominantly tastes like an apple tea, but it’s also got other flavours going on- but it manages to avoid tasting like a complete mess, like some teas with too many ingredients sometimes do.For me this is one of those teas that benefits from a shorter brewing time. Brewing for a lot of minutes brings out more of the bitterness and earthiness that I’m less keen on. With a shorter brewing time it does up looking a little pale, but that’s how to best the best of the flavour out, especially the apple. It’s bright, not too floral, and there’s a freshness to it that makes it taste a little bit homemade.The presentation is nothing special- the bags are paired and not individually wrapped or stringed, so more like PG Tips than ‘posh’ tea. Apart from the importer label on the outside there’s no English text on the box, so if there are any surprises or unexpected instructions on the box, I don’t understand them! Thankfully I don’t need to, and it’s difficult to go wrong with these teabags.Rather than just being a familiar product from an unfamiliar foreign brand name, these are teabags that were worth importing to the UK, as the quality of them is definitely above quite a lot of the flavoured greens sold in UK supermarkets- and the price isn’t that much either either (under five quid at time of writing).

I love this as you only need to brew it for a short while to get good flavor and they are packed full of goodness and I find them very calming - they are strong enough to use each bag twice in my opinion as if you brew them too long they can be a little harsh on the stomach. Will get again so definitely recommend trying!
