Beats the plastic ones out there
Nice heavy duty solar wrench that worked well taking some mc4 connectors apart. I did notice one of the wrenches had bubbles in the metal and other than that they are pretty handy.

Had to re-install solar system after roof replacement and these worked well. They aren't the heavily made but worked as the should. I would recommend.

PLASTIC is The New Zinc Aluminum Alloy
Gee, these expensive to purchase, "zinc aluminum alloy" ones were actually a type of PLASTIC when they arrived! (And who wud'da thunk it?)I returned for refund. But a needless pain in the b! And a total waste of my time.I then used my OLD, FREE, PLASTIC ones instead. Most MC4 connectors come with free ones designed by their same, "proprietary manufacturer".Plus, these metal ones can conduct a NASTY, even life-threatening, shock to you!! An important product, "feature".Why bother?This product was NOT worthwhile for me. And I didn't purchase it again. Though, I do still have somewhat of a "metal fetish" apparently. Just not for MC4 connector tools anymore. I'M HEALED of my MC4 "spanner-envy" permanently now. Praise be!As few as 3, 12-volt solar panels connected together in series can kill you; PERMANENTLY too!I cannot RECOMMEND this PRODUCT even if it is a, "zinc aluminum alloy" metal upon arrival. (Though my product did come in the form of an already very familiar, "plastic" version for the price, Paid.)Each of these are elemental metals: zinc and aluminum, and are highly conductive.Durability is generally nice! A stopped heart isn't.

This is the best thing ever invented
I’m almost age 60 , and my joints and fingers aren’t as strong as a young person , so instead of trying my hardest to squeeze the pins from the mc4 connectors , I effortlessly pull the connector’s apart with this awesome tool . I highly recommend to use this tool to everyone that especially has solar panels and uses mc4 connectors like I do almost every day. Especially if you have arthritis or stiffness in your joints and fingers like me .

works, but not required
These fit, but are not required, You can easily use a few pairs of pliers to get the job done instead of using these "tools." Total waste of money.
