I made the mistake of underestimating these when I first purchased it. I bought this as part of a multi-snack spicy challenge my friends and I were filming and I thought it would be funny to add this to the mix. What I didn't expect was that it is DEFINITELY as spicy if not spicier than advertised BUT what I DIDN'T expect was just how delicious this jerky is. That's the worst part as it's so spicy that the pain wants you to stop, but the flavor is so good that your brain no longer cares about the irreparable damage that's taking place.This is without a doubt the BEST jerky I have EVER eaten in my life, even if my tongue can no longer taste things the same way as before and even if my stomach may have permanent damage. The jerky not only tastes great but this is also some of the most tender, juicy jerky I have eaten as well. This is worth it in every way.When you first eat this jerky, it initially has a sweet and savory taste to it, similar to a spicy teriyaki flavor and the initial heat kick has a cayenne pepper type taste and feel to it. HOWEVER, the more you eat, the HOTTER it gets. After about 4 pieces, I began to sweat and my eyes started to water. After 6 pieces, my ears began to hurt and my lips started to go numb. After 8 pieces (about half the bag), my mouth began to go numb and my stomach started to churn. After 12 pieces, I had to stop. At this point, I was drooling everywhere, my nose was dripping, my eyes were full of tears, and my stomach felt like it had turned into a volcanic magma chamber that was burning me from the inside out. Despite the pain, the flavor was just too good to stop but I saved the rest of the bag for my friends to try.In the aftermath, I am a new man. My tastebuds literally are brand new. There are foods now that I like to eat that I used to hate the taste of, my sense of smell seems better than ever, and my stomach still has the occasional bit of volcanic activity.Needless to say, this is the best jerky you'll ever taste and experience ever in your life. I will gladly purchase more of this in the future, and if you are going to do this for a challenge, get yourselves EACH YOUR OWN BAG as that's the best way to experience this snack. I highly recommend it.

I bought this for someone who LOVES spicy stuff, and he loved this! He said it's the best beef jerky he's ever had, and wish it came with more. I don't do spicy, but I tried it out of curiosity, and it has a yummy flavor.. and yes, it will make anyone sweat, Haha. It is the spiciest thing I've tried in my life, hurts my mouth for a few minutes, but really, it's not ridiculously spicy like I was expecting. I was expecting heartburn after, and a fire in my mouth for hours, but not at all.Caution: wash your hands after and don't rub your eyes.I would say this is a special buy that I would not buy on the regular because not much comes in a bag. It's more of a tester, it goes quick.

This package of beef jerky is not the largest in terms of value, but it more than makes up for it in terms of quality, flavor and heat. I got this jerky to do a spice challenge with some friends, and we were all pleasantly surprised at just how good this jerky is just on its own.The jerky has a savory yet sweet flavor, that to me had a bit of a sweet Caribbean jerk taste while having a smoky and peppery savoriness. The spice is not too substantial when eating just a small piece, but just as the name implies, the heat definitely "creeps" up on you with the more you eat and once that happens it can take a while before your mouth cools back down. However, one of the best parts about this jerky, in my opinion, is the texture. This jerky is not tough, chewy or overly dry like some other jerky, and it pulls apart easily and is very tender and easy to chew.Now, while I love this jerky, I can't help but wish the package was just a bit bigger as it can run out quickly especially when you and others are all sharing it. Additionally, there are always the painful after effects when eating this jerky if you are spice sensitive- if you know what I mean. It also has triggered me to have some stomach cramps that can be quite ferocious, but the flavor and experience of this jerky is worth every moment.Overall, for those who love spice, this is potentially the best flavored and best made jerky on the market, and it also makes for a great challenge and experience for those who just want to try spicy things. I love it, my friends love it, and hopefully you will too. I highly recommend it!

I got myself a set of 3 as reviews were unclear which ones were hot vs really hot: "Creeping reaper", "Inferno XXX" and "Insanity".The "creeping reaper" is the closest to "normal" jerky from the 3. Very tasty, soft and a bit hot. Easy to eat a whole package in one sitting when chilling in front of the TV as it's just a perfect balance of texture and taste."Insanity" is the one with the most "bite" of the three, it's the friend you invite over when you need a bit of a boost."Inferno XXX", in terms of spice level this one felt in between "creeping reaper" and "insanity" for the jerky. The thing about this one though is that it comes with a WHOLE dried reaper pepper in the package, which is a LOT hotter than "insanity" - so hot that you have to be very careful on how you eat that thing (you may experience a lot of discomfort for a few hours). This one is more of a "countdown to death" as you eat jerky and realize that you're almost down to the reaper. Maybe a bit stressful for some.If "insanity" was the friend you invite over to give you a boost, this one is the friend that takes you out to get hammered and eventually blackout.Overall: I recommend any of these. For me, I'll probably buy another batch to match my mood.

This jerkey has great flavor and heat! Texture is a little odd and the sweetness is more than I would like but it is good otherwise!
