Keeps Grandson Busy for Hours
This is an excellent purchase for anyone with small kids who love the fire services. My 3 year old grandson is obsessed with firemen, trucks, and emergency vehicles. This fire station is very well constructed, super sturdy, and has kept him busy for hours at a time. He puts his toy ambulance in there as well. I can't recommend this enough for toddlers. It's worth every penny!

The perfect fire station toy!
My baby likes all the Hape pretend toys like this Fire Station (we also have the train mountain and space ship). These toys are played with daily. Other small figure toys have been added to expand the creative adventures. The fire station is our newest addition because he loved to pretend about fire trucks and we are not disappointed! Amazing quality and the perfect amount of added details and figures to ignite imaginative play. A quick favorite. Hape toys are amazing.

Great toy for a family with young kids
We recently purchased the hape fire station playset. It was a perfect gift for my son who is currently obsessed with fire engines.Assembly was a bit challenging, but as a mom with over a decade of toy assembly experience, I managed to figure it out. It would be great if they labeled pieces with sticker showing which piece was A,B,C Etc. Without toddler assistance it would probably have been much faster; I would say it took about 30 minutes to put together with so much “help.”Once assembled, the fire station is very sturdy. The details are so thoughtful: the basketball hoop, the fireman’s pole, the hose that plugs into the hydrant and fire truck, and the favorite in our house — the little wooden fire. As soon as we started unboxing the toy, my son was asking where the fire was so we could put it out.My daughter loves pulling the cord to make the fire engine come out of the doors “magically” and turning the ladder to rescue people and pets from rooftops. My son loves pushing the button to make the siren sound (I love that pushing it again makes it stop, a feature more toys need, in my opinion) and spinning the helicopter blades. The vehicles are really cute and feel like they will hold up to a lot of play.

Fun Features, My kid loves it!
The media could not be loaded. The Hape Fire Station Playset is larger than I thought it would be, which isn't a bad thing. The fire truck & helicopter it comes with are a really good size as well and are nice solid wood. However, The assembly was pretty difficult. It would be helpful if the manufacturer put piece-label stickers on the parts and/or some arrow stickers to know which piece goes where and what direction. Once assembled though, it is a lot of fun. The fire pole is really fun and the fireman can actually hold on to it as you can see in my video. There's a truck ramp in the garage that you can pull on and it will shoot the fire truck out, which my son loves. It also has a siren on the actual fire house. Overall, It has a lot of fun features especially for being a wooden non-electronic (minus siren) toy. Plus, the fire man is super cute! My son played with it for about an hour straight after assembling.

All 4 of my kids love it!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my 3.5 year old boy/girl twins and they love it. What I was not expecting was how much my 6 and 9 year olds would also enjoy playing with it. All four kids played have played with it for hours at a time. It's rare in my house that I can keep my kids occupied for that much time in one sitting! A few other thoughts:1. This is a great item to buy for multiple children to share because of its size and the number of items and features that come with the playset. My daughter loves the helicopter while her twin can't get enough of the fire truck (he has already insisted on bringing it to show and tell). Because there are two vehicles, they have not fought over the items and have instead done a great job of sharing it. There are multiple rooms in the fire station, which allow them to play with different areas of the fire station at the same time.2. There are a number of special interest features that make this a more interesting playset than other fire stations I have seen. There is a bell that rings, a fire station alarm, a fire pole that the firefighter can "slide" down, and a string mechanism that causes the fire truck to fly out of the closed doors of the fire station garage. I think it was these extra features that caused my bigger kids to enjoy the playset along with their younger siblings.3. It is well constructed and I like that it's made of wood, rather than cheap plastic. I saw that some of the other reviewers said they had a hard time assembling it, but that was not my experience at all. The pieces all fit together perfectly and the picture instructions were very easy to follow.Well done, Hape!

Amazing, fun, good quality, easy to put together
My 3 year old LOVES this firehouse. He is obsessed and I have to admit, it is very cool. I grew up with girls and dollhouses, and it's so fun to have a "boy version" of a dollhouse. Easy to put together and great quality!
