Fin Fun Advanced Monofin AMP Swim Fin for Youth and Adult Mermaids

Me and my sister used to use these growing up so fun and amazing!!! People are right to say they wear out quickly and that is true which is why I recommend1 only use them in water and try not stand on them.- There made of fabric so overtime hard friction will damage them2 use water prof tape an most used areas if needed- This adds a bit of a barrier to help protect the fabricOver all they are amazing make u swim incredibly fast and great for all ages.

It looks great and is quite fun, especially with the mermaid skin. I swim butterfly with it. The Finis monofin is stronger and I could swim faster, but it's a bit awkward. It fits my women's size 10, but a little bit hard to pull it over your ankles. I don't think I could put in on while treading water in the deep end. I imagine that it will stretch a bit over time. It is beautiful and better for less advanced swimmers compared to the Finis.

We are FinFun Mermaid fans and we love every product we've purchased over the years! My daughter's been a mermaid enthusiast and passionately involved in oceanic/marine science education and eco-activism for the past four years!! She loves all her 12 mermaid tails from FinFun, she has all the Mermaidens, some special edition tails and many of your previous monofins, and has swam in her FinFun tails in four of the major seas. She's a very skilled swimmer and loves loves loves this upgrade! The AMP Monofin is a snug step up from the regular fin, offering all the brilliant benefits of the previous monofin with a fun new aqua design/ patterned fabric shell and better foot placement security! Its a bit heavier than its predecessor but it mimics the movement of an actual fish tail flowing nicely during swim. The Monofin allows the tail to move in more natural ways and she says it helps her project forward better! It certainly looks more realistic from my line of sight watching her swim!So if she's thrilled about this new monofin then I'm thrilled! We are ready to buy more of the Atlantis tails, because she loves the way the dorsal and ankle fins look more realistic so look forward to that review soon!thank you FinFun, for the last four years you've made my daughters dreams come true and the way her face lights up when she gets surprised with new fin fun tails and monofin, etc. Your company is certainly playing a major part in long lasting family memories! I loved it so bad. When I started using it at the swimming pools somehow from the back of the monofin ripped. Are there any chances for me to get a renew one?

My daughter absolutely loves her Monofin but I am disappointed in the quality. I ordered two different fines, one Jr. model for my youngest daughter and the Pro version for my oldest. The Jr. model is holding up very well, however the Pro is not. After the first day of use, I noticed the material starting to tear along the ankle stitching. I helped my daughter put the Monofin on so I know it was done carefully and not forcefully. After a few uses, it developed wear marks in several locations. This was only used in a hard plastic lined pool, not a rough, concrete surface. I am really disappointed as my daughters love their fins, and with the price, I was fully expecting the Pro model to hold up for several more uses. It seems as though the material may be different between the junior and pro but I cannot say that for certain.

Overall I like the product. After one rigorous lap swim there is obvious wear on the heel from contact with the pool floor from the few times I stopped to rest. I was careful not to scuff the material. The ankle cuffs are comfortably snug, I wear a size 8 women’s shoe. But I wonder how long they will retain elasticity. I wish that the fin tips had drainage holes, and I wish that the heel had the same protective covering as the fin tips. The fin is pretty fast and agile, the rigid interior support allows for powerful strokes. Because I like the fin I’m thinking about reinforcing the heel with some wetsuit repair tape, rather than returning the product. I’m in the fence. If the product was more robust I would give five stars because I like the way it swims.

This is big and fit into the costume. Works really well and is easy to move in water. Woman Size 9 feet.
