Excellent Cooling System for Tinker Projects
I recently purchased multiple 12V 12A Thermoelectric Peltier Cooling Systems for various tinker projects, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Here’s why:Easy Assembly and Ready to Use: These cooling systems come fully assembled and ready to use out of the box. No need to spend hours putting parts together – just connect power, and you’re good to go.Versatile Applications: Whether you’re building a mini air conditioner, a small fridge, or experimenting with cooling solutions, these Peltier coolers are incredibly versatile. I’ve used them in different setups, and they perform consistently.Customization Options: If you’re feeling adventurous, you can take customization to the next level. Consider swapping out the Peltier plates for a higher-quality model to enhance cooling efficiency. You can also experiment with stacking multiple Peltier plates to achieve even colder temperatures on the cold side.Efficient Cooling: Despite their compact size, these coolers deliver impressive cooling performance. They’re perfect for small enclosures, electronics, or any project where temperature control matters. They might be what is heating and cooling the seats in your car.Quiet Operation: I appreciate how quiet these systems are. They don’t disrupt the peace in my workspace, making them ideal for both hobbyists and professionals. In summary, the 12V 12A Thermoelectric Peltier Refrigeration Cooling System is a reliable and efficient choice for anyone working on DIY projects. Whether you’re a seasoned tinkerer or a beginner, these coolers won’t disappoint.Highly recommended!

Water condensation after a few hours
Another review talked about no water condensation after 1hr use - which is true, but just wait a couple more hours and you'll see plenty of water condensing around the cooling side's metal. Eventually, it starts dripping (very slowly). So this is dangerous to use as a PC cooler, you'd have to keep it outside the case just to blow some cool air in. However, it does work well for it's size and the price is right. I'm thinking of 3D printing a housing for this, to make sure the water collects safely, and the small fans are the only thing sticking out on the cooling side. It does draw enough 12V current to make thin wires melt, so make sure you use a decent gauge wire from your power supply. This might be a dangerous item for those with little electronics knowledge - like me :)

No screw holes to attach it to.. wires on fan are very fragile and break
This thing is trash. I tried to use it to build a mini fridge and there are no screw holes to attach it to the surface. When trying to solve for that, I decided to try to glue it and feed the wires through a hole, but the wires for the fan are so small that when I was stripping them they kept snapping. On top of that, when I was finally ready to attach the unit to the mount, the wires for the fan broke off the fan and needed to be soldered back on. During this process the solder melted the fan mount. I am going back to a single fan and buying 2 that at least have screw holes to attach to the mount.

Quality control - be aware
The unit functions properly except for 1 of the smaller fans which was DOA. I went to a local shop and paid $15AUD to buy a new fan. It now works as intended, just very unfortunate that I had to spend money on it to fix it when it arrived.

Received and fans were in wrong direction
Ok thermoelectric cooler to try and build a mini fridge, however. When received, one fan was the wrong way (the heat end) and both fans are screwed on to only the heatsink and fell apart sometimes.

GREAT Peltier units.
This double-stack makes building a modest 12V DC air conditioner a breeze!

Does not cool as much as I had hoped
My shop is 80 degrees. My fermintation box is about 4 qubic feet and has one inch high density foam insolation. I can only get it down to about 60 degrees.
