After owning a pair of these chairs I can honestly say that though they may not be the most durable (not solid wood but composite), comfortable (see below), or even the most versatile of chairs, they are exactly what I purchased them for.The chair comes very nicely packaged even with some delivery dings the chair was unharmed and they include literature and a contact number if there is an issue, major plus.Assembly is straight to the point, do take note that as with all furniture it this chair will "settle" meaning the legs will adjust after a month or so of use, you will need to retighten them. DO NOT FORGET THIS.This chair isn't to lounge in, if you want that, get a lounge chair. Side note, stop lounging at the dinner table / bar it's just bad all around to do that.The lumbar support I take as more of a "suggestion" than actual designed support. This chair isn't meant for that, Amazon has a plethora of chairs available for true lumbar support if you need it.Comfort I gave 3 stars only due to me being over weight and the padding on the seat is minimal thus I pancake it quite quickly, but still, that is a personal issue not a design flaw, but it could be overcome with better foam / thicker padding.If you are looking for a chair you can sit and eat dinner with that doesn't essentially break the bank but still looks rather nice this is the chair for you. Most adults can agree that buying furniture isn't always about comfort otherwise all interior design would be non-existent and we'd all still have the big pillow couches of the 1990's. This is one of those pieces of furniture you make a trade off with, it looks nice when you're not sitting in it and feels nice for the time you're eating your meals.

Easy to clean when dirty, and the seat cushions keep their shape after use! Havent ripped in the time that we have used them!

I bought 2 of these stools, if put together correctly they are very sturdy! And they look great too.CAUTION: The dimensions given are not accurate. I measured the front bottom legs width is about 19 1/8" not 16" wide. The height they claim of the seat is 25.5" high. I measured center of the seat is 26 1/4" high and the sides of the seat are higher 27-28" high.TIP ON ASSEMBLY,Assembly is pretty easy, easiest way to assemble is,1- Screw legs to the bottom of the seat, 3 long screws on each side, KEEP AS LOOSE AS POSSIBLE, JUST ENOUGH TO HOLD ONTO THE CHAIR2- Attach metal footrest to the legs using the 4 shorter screws then tighten each corner a little at a time until all are tight.3- Now go back and tighten the seat screws.4- TIGHTEN ALL SCREWS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE

I read reviews before purchasing this chair and felt confident that I could handle the lack of assembly instructions (biggest complaint). Happy to say it was super simple to assemble. There’s arrows on the legs and the pictures are detailed enough to follow. They look great, sturdy, and pretty comfortable. I’d recommend this brand and chair.

Easy assemble i have 4 of these they are comfy and pretty strong. The material is not real durable on the seats so I’d ask your friends with the bedazzled asses to take that to the couch not your stools. But over all I’m happy with them for the price i feel they were a great buy.

These are very comfortable and well constructed barstools. All parts are laminated bentwood construction with walnut veneer faces. Similar to classic Eames chairs. They took about 5 minutes to assemble with little need for the instructions. I build furniture for a living and would have a hard time reproducing these for $85. Highly recommended.

I bought 2 sets of these stools. The front part of the seating area is tilted higher than its back, which reflects the measurements listed on the description. This made it very awkward to sit on. Returned items at own expense

Loving these counter height stools. Def an upgrade from our previous inexpensive ones (also in the pic). They are sturdy enough for adults and safe enough for all the kids to use. Super easy to put together. Love the modern and clean line asthetic too.
