I appreciate the sturdiness of these steps but still providing a lightweight structure. My little chiweenie is not tall enough to jump they almost four feet to get into my bed. The steps were perfect to provide the lift she needed. Also, I have issues lifting heavy weights. Those problems are solved. Also, I like the upholstered feature. It makes the steps look very nice, in a designer way. I could highly recommend this product for other people with the same issues. My dog weighs about 15 lb, and these steps would be sturdy enough to hold a slightly heavier dog.

My Pomapoo weighs about 5 pounds and it took her a day to master these stairs to get up and down from the couch and she loves them now that she can pounce on me whenever she wants. They're the right length apart for each step for her little legs and they're sturdy for her and they're soft. Works very well. Am very happy with them and am going to buy another for the other couch.

I absolutely love this product! I have a 12 year old dog and an almost-3 year old dog and a house with all wood floors. I started to worry about my older dog hurting himself jumping off the bed and landing on that wood floor, so I got the stairs. The dogs started using the stairs and now I'm wondering why I waited so long to get them! It is such a great preventative even for young dogs. The stairs have been tramped by a 20 lb. dog and a 7 lb. dog (LOL) for the past couple of years and these stairs have held up amazingly and are super lightweight if you need to move them to clean, make the bed, etc. Will never not have dog stairs again!

I purchased this for my 18 pound 8 year old long haired chihuahua mix dog after she was getting mild patella subluxation from jumping off my bed. She learned how to use the steps after just three attempts ( bribing her with treats) and it’s the best purchase I’ve made. She can safely and easily get on and off my bed with these steps. I’m 5’2” and not particularly strong but I can easily lift these steps into my car if we are traveling or even between rooms in the house.

Not quite as slip proof as I thought on hardwood floors, easily fixable by putting non slip rug under it. Loved the feel, the sturdy yet soft cushion in the steps. The height was perfect. She hasn't used it yet as shes been outside sunning all day. But I know she will love. My bed is too hard for her to jump on in her older years. I have a Tuxedo kitty.

Our tea cup yorkie likes it we love it. Makes it possible for the cranky old lady to get on and off the bed with out help. If she has a complaint it is that we don't always have to respond to her begging for a lift. She can do it herself. You can see she has concerns about the looseness in the covering material hence the 4 star rating. There wasn't much to choose from in a short step lift. Being a small dog the 5 steps were a necessity to reach the 27 in bed height. A tighter, tougher fabric for the stair covering and this would be perfect.

Our bed with its memory foam topper is 31" high. We have an 8 yr-old pug who has been sleeping with us since we had to put down our other dog in December. We have been afraid that she would jump off the bed during the night, slip on our laminate flooring and injure her hips or legs. These stairs are attractive, stable and sturdy. They don't move when our dog goes up or down. Our pug was using them 30 seconds after we put them next to the bed. We highly recommend them!

Everything is as advertised. I previously had the white one but it was pretty worn so this is a replacement. I kinda screwed up though. Since my dog is older now, its hard for him to see the darker colored one I just got and hes having trouble going down in the dark. I guess its his eyesight getting worse as he ages, since he could see the white one just fine. He's actually fallen once but he's figuring it out... Maybe keep something like that in mind when deciding on a color. Of course this is a personal setback and not the fault of the item which is an excellent product. Especially since it does have the extra steps. If you have a high bed, it's a necessity.
