Excellent Read
This action-filled and evenly paced drama quickly became a page turner as I had to know who was doing what to whom and why. The cleverly scripted plot was well-developed and the mystery kept me in suspense as the story moved forward. The author did a great job in keeping me on my toes as every time I thought I had it figured out, she changed direction and boy was I surprised when the killer was revealed. I love this story with the murder, the romance and the feel-good atmosphere that is supported by a great cast from Nell to Jesse to Eleanor and to the rest of the Someday Quilts quilters. This is the best book ever in this character-driven and pleasantly appealing series.

Wonderful read
Once again, Clare has delivered another great chapter in Nell's life! I love the crime-solving but the quilting even more. I expect there is a wedding coming very soon! Can't wait to read the next installment! Thanks, Clare!

Cosy Quilty Mystery
I bought this book because someone I knew was reading it and it sounded intriguing. It's based in a small town, with a number of small town quirky characters. There are some nice references to quilting and the quilt shop, Someday Quilts. This is an integral part of the plot, and very interesting to anyone who is a quilter. There were enough red herrings to keep me guessing, and the pacing was good. I will definitely read more in this series as I want to find out what happens with the characters!

The Double Wedding Ring
Another volume in the Someday Quilts Mysteries where Nell Fitzgerald just doesn't know how to let the sheriff solve the case, but just has to butt into the action. Entertaining.

Perfect Next in Series!
Perfect next in the series! Striking the right balance between quilting, marketing, people, and personal lives is sometimes lacking. This author hits the balance perfectly! In this book, murder happens as the wedding is planned. Clare's absent parents make their appearance, and so do many issues and people from Jesse's past, including the murder of his former police partner. Suspects are "quilted" right into the shop, with Barney, the faithful Golden Retriever, and a new kitten, rescued by the quilt shop. Pattern design, longarm quilting, piecing are all included. The author does a wonderful job on this one - a must read!

Love the series
Love the series. Kind of like reading about the grown up Nancy Drew. Light, interesting mysteries that are relaxing to read with characters you feel somehow you know. You don't have to be a quilter to enjoy them but picking up bits and pieces of the craft and the passion it inspires is part of the charm of the books.

Loved it!
I have enjoyed all of the Nell Fitzgerald series books. "The Double Wedding Ring" was a wonderful mystery. I am a quilter, so that aspect of the story is always interesting to me. In this book I enjoyed the development of Nell and Jesse's relationship, and all of the family dynamics. O'Donohue did an excellent job of weaving the subplots together. The "whodunit" was complex enough to keep me interested. Hated to see it end. I'm ready for the next book.

The Double Wedding Ring is a hit
Nell's boyfriend's ex cop partner is killed in front of his house. Nobody seems to know why he was even there much less why he'd be killed. Through a series of other events, the mystery is unraveled, but not without a lot of angst and worry. The back story is that Nell's grandmother is getting married and moving out of town for half the year. So, what will happen to the quilt shop? Will it close or will Nell take over? There's also the complication that Nell's parents come to town for the wedding and her mom is not happy with her daughter's life choices. What I like about this series is that while there's romance, it's done in an adult manner. There are no foolish games and I like how well adjusted Nell is despite her mother's disapproval and interference.
