The Girl Games: Super Special (Goddess Girls)

My 8 yr old daughter LOVES this series. We stumbled across it after she had an interest in Percy Jackson books and enjoys Monster High. The series is fun, creative and interesting. It makes the stories of the Greek Gods accessible to a younger audience and has inspired her new love of ancient stories. The stories may stray slightly from the original tales but are light-hearted and humorous. My daughter does read above her grade level but flies through each novel. I don't imagine girls who read on their grade level having any problems.

I chose this rating of 5 stars because it was a great book ! It showed what it is like being a goddess girl.I liked that it was a super special and that it had all of the girls names titled as the chapter! I don't think that there were anything about the book that I disliked! It was a wonderful book to read!I recommend this book, which is Goddess Girls: The Girl Games to my friends that will enjoy learning about goddess girls! If I enjoyed the book I am sure they will too!Overall, the book was a great book! In my opinion, that is!

An often quirky take on mythology. My daughter loves this series. She is a reluctant reader but these books keep her interest and get her practicing. For that reason I give it a good rating.

My daughter started reading these age nine and she loves them. Not only does she enjoy the story, but her knowledge and curiosity of mythology has crossed over into history and other areas of play and study. So many references to this in our world, so I applaud this series.

Product was delivered on time and in the condition expected. I bought this book for my daughter who is an avid reader. She loves greek mythology and is collecting all in the series as fast as the author and publisher can get them off. It is very age appropriate with real issues and situations with a little bit of magic that we all delight in at times.

My daughter loves this series. She is in fourth grade and loves mythology, so this series is fun and intersesting to her. It teaches her good life lessons with a girly touch.

Our granddaughter loved this whole series! One day she was reading these - the next she had started university [at 14 years old] - that the truth;-)

This series is my fav and I love them. The idea for highlighting them in kindle is amazing. 100% RECOMENDABLE !!!!

Endlich beginnen die Olympischen Spiele nur für Mädchen. Das Buch ist aus Sicht von Artemis, Persephone, Athene und Aphrodite geschrieben. Sie wechseln sich Kapitel für Kapitel ab, was der Handlung immer wieder einen frischen Aufschwung gibt. Es gibt auch eine Menge neuer Figuren im Buch zu entdecken, die hoffentlich in Zukunft auch ab und zu mal wieder vorkommen.Artemis hat in diesem Band mal wieder einen Nerv bei mir getroffen. Sie muss alles alleine machen und ist zu stolz andere um Hilfe zu bitten, obwohl sie diese dringend braucht. Aphrodite war mir zum Anfang des Buches eigentlich sehr positiv aufgefallen, aber ihr Streit mit Persephone war wirklich lästig.Endlich kam Persephone mal wieder vor, ich mag sie am liebsten. Sie und Hades waren so süß in dem Buch und ich hoffe bald wieder etwas von den Beiden lesen zu können. Ein Kuss wäre auch mal ganz nett. Athene und Herakles sind auch so ein niedliches Paar und ich freu mich einfach für sie.Fazit: Die Spiele für Mädchen waren sehr unterhaltsam und haben Lust auf mehr gemacht. Die Handlung war sehr spannend, voller Action und mit einer guten Prise Romantik. Es hat sich super flüssig lesen lassen und das Cover ist super niedlich. So ein kleines Spezial könnte ruhig öfter erscheinen!!
