Inflatable World Globe Beach Ball 9"

Great learning devise for children and adults (seeing how roughly a third of adults can't find the USA on a world map) to learn world geography. I gave a couple to my girlfriend's kids...for about a week her kids AND her and her sisters were mesmerized with it. Then they forgot it altogether, but for the price that's still a lot. The seams didn't line up on the image or the lat and lon lines exactly, so don't plan on using this to plot a course or anything. Just good for the geographically ignorant to learn the names of different countries and their approximate location relative to the rest of the earth.

After inflating, the tab wouldn't stay closed so the air leaks out rapidly! Worthless product.

I would not buy it for a 15 years old but my 15 months old baby is very happy with it. She plays with it like her other balls and when I have a chance to catch her attention I show her something on the globe. She does not really care about that yet. :o) But it will be very useful soon.

Nice size, what I was looking for. The maps don't line up correctly but considering this is a toy, that's okay.

I expected it to be a lot larger. Otherwise, it is okay. It was well made and holds air well.

I just bought the cheapest globe I could find for a last-minute project my 10-yo needed to do for school.It's pleasantly bouncy and spherical (not misshapen). It deflates very slowly; it takes about 10 seconds to blow it up back to full every few days. This is after heavy use, since my daughter has played with it a lot as a bouncy ball (after we used it for the project).It's 9" in diameter as advertised and the map looks good and precise. Though the color seems different than pictured, it has typical "political map" colors.Overall it's much better quality than what I expected to get for $5.90.

I love the idea of an inflatable globe, but the seams are so sloppily matched with this item that I cannot recommend it, alas. Everything is distorted because of this problem. Had more care been taken to assemble the item, match the seams, it would have gotten 4 stars from me, maybe more.
