MSG is magic awesomness
You can get cheaper MSG, but it comes in a bag. That sux. This is convenient. Buy this and then buy the stuff in the bag to refill this. Sprinkle MSG on anything with any kind of meat, or even Tofu. You can also try tomato paste concentrate in a tube (which is good), but this is pure, unadulterated UMAMI! Don't take my word for it, try whatever dish you like, with and without a sprinkle of MSG and decide for yourself. Its a good thing that it doesn't actually cause headaches, because I put it on almost everything.

Msg gets a bad rap but it's amazing
TL;DRBUY THIS. It will make most dishes amazing especially meat and even vegetables. MSG aka YUM has a bad rap that's nonsense. Enjoy!--Wordy review below enjoy!Did you know the official name of the flavor sensation of this spice is actually "yum". That's right yum! There's tart, sweet etc... then there's this.In like the late 90s or early 2000s msg got a bad name because of how much was used in American style Chinese food so it fell out of popularity and most people think it's some weird dangerous chemical.Let's set the record straight for a second here. Yum or msg is a spice and it's kinda like salt in that a little bit can go a long way and you obviously shouldn't dump it on everything although studies haven't shown it to be bad for you in moderation.I put it on basically anything fatty, especially meat where it's best. Put this on before cooking a nice steak and then a sprinkle after it's done and wow... It just tastes amazing. The basic way to think about yum is that it's a flavor enhancer. It doesn't sound much have its own flavor so much as it really brings out and dials the flavor of foods (all types including vegetables) up to 11! Cliche maybe but it's also absolutely true. Other than desserts or candy lol... I don't think there's a single food that this doesn't enhance. It's absolutely fantastic!

MSG doesn't cause illness. It's OK
MSG has gotten a bad wrap from the press but the truth is it's a natural substance. MSG has that umami punch which you get from mushrooms, cheeses, sun dried tomatoes, worchestershire, French onion soup etc. There's no evidence that MSG makes you get headaches etc..That said I got my 2 pack today and tore off the seal and it vaguely smelled like mc donalds frys somewhat.. The tasted it straight to see what it was about and it tasted like that savory punch you get from a good broth minus the meat and aromatic flavors.. Its like a neutral flavored broth if that makes sense.. MSG and salt are flavor enhancers meaning they can magnify the flavor of whatever you season them with. They stimulate your taste buds and glands in your mouth. Don't be scared of MSG but read or watch some info on it.. It isnt the monster the media makes it out to be..Same as in the 90s that eggs daily was bad because cholesterol and then they found out eggs were good for their protein etc.. Dont listen to the hype and try it!

Package downsizing.
This MSG is good but I had bought it in 2022 and each bottle was 5.25 oz. I just bought it again and saw that each bottle is now 4.25 oz.
