Great Product!!
I used to buy Old Wessex Scottish Style Porridge, but the company sold to Bob’s Red Mill. I was hoping they would continue to carry the porridge, however, they did not. I found this product was comparable to the porridge. It has great texture and excellent taste.

The best!
This is what I eat for breakfast almost every morning. Love them. Great flavor, high quality, so reliable. Great tooth to these when eating them, as opposed to “oatmeal” which just turns into a paste. These are the go-to.

Okay, now I know what oatmeal is really supposed to be like.
Sure, I have eaten my share of oatmeal over the years and, well, oatmeal is oatmeal, right? No. Now I understand that good oatmeal has texture. All these reviews about people disliking mushy oatmeal? Now I get it: that stuff I was eating before was the mushy kind. This Bob's oatmeal is nutty flavored and a little chewy. I didn't think it would be that big of difference but it will be hard to go back to mush-meal now. I undercook it a little in the microwave and let it sit for a bit before adding some fruit or nuts. Done and done and I'm out the door.

My new favorite oatmeal
My new favorite, thinking I like it more than my old favorite which was Snoqualimie Falls brand of oatmeal that never came back after the first year of Covid.I overnight it in the refrigerator with milk in a 32 ounce Pyrex measuring cup covered with plastic wrap. Then I spoon out what I want to eat and warm it in the microwave, half way through warming it I add a bit of real butter and some brown sugar. I typically overnight enough for 3 decent sized servings so I end up with enough for several days. Thinking of trying some real maple syrup in place of the brown sugar.

Great Gluten Free Oats
A bit expensive but well worth it. I use both for morning cereal and for gluten free banana/oatmeal breakfast bars. The resealable bag works well to keep fresh.

Changed suppliers or something?
I have been buying this organic extra thick gluten free oats for years and suddenly they take longer to cook and even when i microwave for an extra minute (after the initial 2 minutes) they still seem too thick and chewy and undercooked. I assume its a new supplier or they changed their method in making these.
