Initialy works good
Was looking for an inexpensive underwater camera to attach to a scotty downrigger and view what action was happening near the lure and flasher while salmon fishing. Most other underwater fishing cameras use a chip that you have to remove and review after the action - with no "live view" option. Tried this unit this weekend and initial experience with it is positive. Clear picture looking at the ocean bottom down to the cord length of 60 feet, easy to use, and held a good charge. Will try it with the downrigger later. Only wish it had a longer length camera cable...

You get what you pay for
I bought this unit new all the parts and instructions good had on my boat in a couple of hours. I went out and all seemed to be working fine. Only used about 4 hours and went the next day after 3 hours started showing double screen of the bottom at 20 ft no fish marker and not showing the depth and the screen now shows the water clarity like I'm setting in mud puddle when I can visually see 2 foot down .I am going to be returning this and start shopping for a new one probably a different brand as well. I knew it was the lower end unit but all I was looking to get was depth and fish makers . I am disappointed in my purchase.

I had to make a sun screen for it, but it's great afterwards.

Poor screen brightness. Impossible to adjust brightness
I took it for ice fishing. It was sunny and impossible to see picture on screen due to low brightness. After I got under a tent it got better but after 1 hour of work at 14F I noticed on screen parallel lines like on old time TV.
