I did not know what to expect with this one. I've been a fan of Olivia for more years than I'd care to remember but so often when you see these folk in live performance they do not come up to the standard you had built up in your mind over the years - it's an image created in a studio with clever electronic trickery. Not so this DVD of a live performance in Australia.The warmth of this artiste comes through the recording - especially in the sequences between numbers when Olivia and friends do a tourist trip around the town.She shows herself as a a very personable individual when seeking a meal - not anything exotic but fish and chips! Purchased for my husband I was worried the order was lost as it came after a later purchase. However, once received we were really pleased with it and unlike some reviews I have seen we loved the bits in between of Olivia,her daughter and the crew walking around the city. Extremely happy with this purchase thank you.

Great dvd of olivia .shes got a fantastic voice..

I received this dvd yesterday and watched it in the evening. Olivia is fabulous, whether it be singing, talking, being a tourist guide and her band are fantastic, clearly they all love travelling and working together. And the concert itself is excellent song choice wise.Except..... it sounds in places like it was recorded at the wrong volume and has had to be messed with to adjust it. Also the picture quality changes, it is as though it goes to widescreen about half way through ... to the point I ended up listening to the songs and only actually watching the tour guide sections.So the four stars are for the fabulous Olivia Newton John, her band and the orchestra.

For those who appreciate quality video- with an upconverting DVD player- it achieves near blu-ray quality.Interestingly enough, the viewer is given the option of choosing 2.1 or 5.1.Olivia's performance is outstanding. While it is a live performance, it literally sounds like it was performed in-studio. It's a testament to what a beautiful voice she had.My biggest gripe is that in between numerous songs, they show her walking and talking outside the amphitheater. I would have preferred those segments as an "extra" on the DVD. The segments are very short and do not take away from the quality of the show.If you like Olivia, you cannot go wrong purchasing this DVD. She sings every song like she is hopelessly devoted to you. Rest in peace Olivia and thank you so much for this performance!

Incroyable mais vrai! Olivia Newton-John est au début de la soixantaine mais sur la scene elle est d'une grande énergie. Ce dvd nous la montre dans une forme resplendissante; filmé dans un endroit magnifique "The Sidney Opera House" le spectacle se déroule dans un train d'enfer car la chanteuse enchaine succes par dessus succes et ce qui m'a le plus frappé c'est qu'elle a l'air d'etre tres heureuse de chanter devant le public qui l'aime tellement car il faut se rappeler que le spectacle se déroule en Australie et que l'Australie c'est pas mal chez-elle. Les chansons sont entrecoupées de petits clips ou Olivia nous fait visiter Sidney.
