Great sounding and great looking guitar
This is great sounding guitar. Plays well as a gypsy jazz guitar, and works well with other music styles too. For gypsy jazz, I find myself tuning down to D, in order to achieve the string bends of gypsy jazz. This is not a problem as far as the guitar's ability to stay in tune goes. I tune up easily to standard tuning, and surprisingly, the guitar stays in tune. My only issue with this guitar is when I recieved it, part of the moustache bridge had fallen off. I glued it back with some wood glue, and it has been okay ever since.

Terrible sound relative to gypsy jazz
Terrible sound relative to gypsy jazz sound. Also very low volume. This one is comparable to the aria and cordoba junk boxes they try to pass off as gypsy guitars.

It is a good deal
It has the sound it is supposed to but these need a bigger soundhole to sound a lot better. The finish was rough in the cutaway and the tailpiece had some discolored spots. I lowered the top 3 strings by taking wood off the top of the bridge.I used a drum sander attachment ($8 Harbor Freight)for a drill to remove 3 of the 6 rings around the sound hole. This has livened up the tone considerably, especially down at the bass area. The sound hole is definitely too small. Have all sanding going downward to avoid lifting the finish. Do the last ring by handrounding the edge there.
