Solved my uE problem on washer
I had a very frustrating problem with my LG washer, wt1101cw where, for some years, had a uE code implying that there was an uneven load in the machine. Most of the time I would resolve it by readjusting the wash load. However, it got to the point that it would fail even while empty during a "tub clean". I made the mistake of going on youtube and finding some people who claimed it was resolved by placing springs or rubber bands in the upper portion of the tub. That proved to be an absolute waste of time. I decided that I would not spend more than $150 to try to resolve this so I took a chance. Two things I did to fix this issue.1) Although I was certain the machine was level, I noticed that the four feet pegs were higher than usual. Since my basement floor was recently cemented and the floor was level, I closed all the feet to their shortest setting and confirmed that it was level.2) Replaced the shocks. Upon removing the old shocks, they did seem looser than the new ones when examined. Replacement was very simple. All I had to do was remove the upper portion of the instrument, 4 screws, and replaced them one at a time. No screwing, just pulled up on the old shock and popped it out. After testing it, it was working again like brand new. Every now and again, I do get an uE code but it's justifiable because the load was definitely uneven. If this had failed, I would have then tried the stator sensor underneath the machine. If that failed as well, I would have taken it to the back yard, set it on fire and danced in joy at it's demise and never purchased an LG product ever again. Hope this helps.

So far a good result
First of all these are replacement suspension rods for a LG washer, NOT a dryer assembly. We have only run one test load through our washer purchased in 2013. It is the first load in several years that hasn’t gone uneven (UE) during the spin cycle so we are hoping for a long term success. They were easy to replace once the top was removed. Watching the YouTube videos were a great help. 5 stars for now and hoping for continued complete loads without error messages.

Temporary Fix
Worked great initially. Now the rods are worthless after 6 months. For OEM parts this is awful. No warranty to back up their parts either.

Solve Unbalanced (UE) Error Code on LG WT1101CW
For a long time we experienced the dreaded Unbalanced (UE) error code with my LG wt1101cw washer. We would constantly receive the error no matter what I did to resolved it. We had to baby-sit the washer as it would refill multiple times to attempt to re-balance the clothes. Similar to other product reviews, I tried the rubber-band, spring, and a towel fixes which were posted on Youtube. None of those fixes worked for me, so after reading the reviews posted on Amazon, I thought I would purchase new shocks and if they didn't work I was going to put the washer to the curb. I installed the new shocks and leveled the washer machine and so far so good. Its been only two (2) days but we have not seen the (UE) code. Loads that would definitely cause the error in the past ran to completion without any error. These reviews definitely helped me with deciding to try to fix my machine one last time. I will update this posting in a few weeks.

Perfect fit
I installed and used these for a couple months now. It took less than 10 minutes to install and have worked flawlessly since. The LG washer works as well as it was me and smoothed the spin cycle right.

They work.
They work but seem to be a bit weaker then the Original ones. Don't stop the tub swaying quite as well.

This is the part to stop the UE code
It was the correct parts for our LG washer from hell. The machine is horrible. Replacing these stopped the UE code it likes to throw. However it still goes off balance every other load. Long as I pause it and restart it's fine.If you get the UE code, these are what you need replace asap. It only gets worse.Super easy to install there are plenty if videos out tgere to do it yourself.
