Small but mighty! Great lights!
These are fantastic! They are small, about the size of a penny, so they require some dexterity to work with. I use a helping hand to hold them for soldering though and it is no problem. They work brilliantly! I have driven them so far using a Raspberry Pi 3, an Arduino Uno and a Nano. In all three cases they were great, bright, nice color and very responsive. I bought a 5v 15amp power supply to power them, but I have also plugged them directly into the 5v rail of my EVGA G2 1300 watt psu as well and they worked no problem. Keep in mind that all 100 of these at full brightness will draw a lot of amps, way too much for your USB port, so a power supply is a must.Soldering is pretty easy. They are small, but the pads are ample enough, there are 6 total, 2 for 5v, 2 for ground and 2 for data in and out. That is 600 solder points for the whole lot! I have had the best success using single strand 20 AWG hookup wire. I tried some stranded 4 pin wire I had for regular rgb led's, but it became brittle and snapped off at the solder points when handled too much. I picked up some 18 AWG 3 pin cable as well, but it is stranded cable and can be a pain to solder. SIngle strand cable has been the easiest for me by far. I am enjoying these a lot and will be buying lot's more!

Excellent and small
Easy to solder but must use 24awg or thicker when using multiple bulbs to allow current flow. So far so good. Next time I will get the ones with the white built in I accidentally ordered the wrong ones but they are cheap and easy to interface using the arduino neopixel library.

Great quality!
So far everything from btf-lighting has not disappointed me at all. I have numerous ws2815 strips and now this completes my project on my ambient lighting that I’m controlling through wled. These single chips are for the fiber optics in my doors so now I can control every sector though my wled app. Beautiful color great performance!

Awesome product for an awesome price!
The media could not be loaded. These worked perfect for my gauge cluster repair business. This customer wanted an RGB backlight in his cluster. Coupled with the BTF lighting Bluetooth controller this project turned out awesome. The Brightness and colors and overall look is awesome! Will be buying these again. Thank you!

Work as advertised, hard to solder
These work well and are very bright. Libraries for these are easy to find. They are not easy to solder wire to the pads. I designed and 3D printed 2 pixel light units for a project I used these for. I included channels to hold the wires and leave the back open. If it wasn’t for that, I would have had a more difficult time using these. I wish the manufacturer had extended the solder pads to the edge of the board. If they had, I could have just bridged between the unseparated pixels with solder and used them much more quickly and easily. If they make that change, this would be a 5 star across the board!

Fantastic lights!
They're easier to use than the LEDs themselves, as in easier to solder and more robust. They're exactly as described. They've saved me a ton of time on projects and work well.

Bright, tiny, single LEDs
Picked up a pack of these for some LED lighting on my quadcopters. After a little soldering and some Betaflight configuration, they show any VTX power and channel and warnings, they also work great for making it easier to find a sub-250g quad in the grass or night flying with buddies through gates. Only complaint is they are not connected through the PCB board so if you want to run more than one in a row, even if you leave them attached to each other, you still have to solder in tiny jumpers from each individual LED to the next.

Good product and great price
I needed some LEDs for an arcade stick I was working on and found these. They were quite affordable and super easy to work with. I used these in groups of 2 LEDs and bridged the solder pads with clipped 2.54mm pins. This worked great to maintain rigidity so they wouldn't separate. These aren't as bright as the Adafruit NeoPixels, but I would argue those get way too bright for most use cases anyway. My project came out great and I still have a bunch extra for other projects!
