Great refwr
This is a well made book.I worked in lithography for years and I can tell you this is a decently printed product on semi-glossy paper with great colors and lots of photographs. As an adult, who studied fine art, this is a nice presentation with interesting and well edited content. As a mom, this is a great book to have laying around for curious 10 year olds to learn fromI think this would also make an excellent coffee table book as well.

Overall I highly recommend for a nice mix of Egyptian imagery and history. However, the organization of the book isn't great. The first half covers "Sacred sites" while the second half covers "Gods, Myths, and Religion." It would have made more sense to cover the religion first so that readers would have that context while reading about the sacred sites. It seems like they organized it the way they did as an excuse to immediately dive into the pyramids (the most popular feature of ancient Egypt). There's quite a bit of repetition too. Perhaps the authors didn't mean for the book to be read chronologically because it doesn't flow very well from beginning to end.Still, it's a great resource for basic Egyptian history and Mythology and it has all of the pictures and imagery you could ask for.P.S. Ignore the reviews about "small text" unless your vision is significantly impaired. The text is fine, equal to or larger than what you'd find in a typical textbook or magazine.
