Good product and service
I swim every day. To keep me company in the water, I have used for a long time a bone conduction waterproof headphone. But it is not perfect. Bubbles from breathing and water movement around your ears make the enjoyment of good music or spoken word difficult. You also have to plug your ears very well or quality of sound will be even worse. The design of this product offers a good solution to both problems. Sound quality is GOOD, not so affected by the water, and the earphones PLUG already your ears. I mount the player on my goggles strap, behind my head and I am ready to go. 8GB are enough for a lot of songs or books. I was afraid that the hole for the jack of the headphones would eventually doom the water tightness of the player but I have had it for a while and it is still working flawlessly. I can see how it is well engineered in all aspects, hw, controls,, manual, instructional video. Even if it is recommended to put 48 hours of drying time between pool sessions, I use it every day with no issue. I just follow strictly the drying instruction and let the player and heaphone be in open air the entire time I am not using it. Also: I have interacted by email with Jenny at Customer Support. She was prompt and professional in handling my initial issues with one channel of the sound randomly going off. Kudos to Sewobye for this too. The only improvement I can think of is to have some way to wrap excess headphone wire to the body of the player. The picture shows how I do it now. This is a positive review triggered by a good product and no other incentive of any kind. I usually only write negative reviews as they are also the only ones I read before buying things.

Excellent Product
I have purchased a similar product under a different name and recently purchased this product and so far have been very impressed with this player even more than the previous version. In fact, I have used many, many different MP3 players for swimming. I swim almost two miles a day and could not get through the boring cadence without the help of music. I have found that this is the best player with all the features that are important to me. In fact, this is the only swimming MP3 player I have ever had to turn down the volume on, which is impressive. The volume is key, many players just can't be turned up loud enough to compensate for the water and this player can go very loud, which is good. Also the ability to feel the buttons (who cares about a screen when you have the player on the back of your head) to move forward/backward is fantastic. Yes, the controls and the limited options are simplistic but that is exactly what you need when your doing serious lap swimming and cannot fiddle with controls. The price is excellent on this product as well. Loading the music is simple as well, just pop it on the old PC and voila, it is a flash drive. No hassle with some stupid music file program like other asinine players. I really like the way it clips as well, you clip it to the back of your goggles. It's a small nit, but not crazy about the jack input being on the side, wish it was on top but it works fine as is.However I haven't used the ear buds at all, so can't vouch for them. But the H20 short cord ear buds really sound well combined with this excellent player. I have found that the biggest weakness for any underwater MP3 players are the ear pieces. If you are kicking against a wall when making that reverse very few ear buds can take that pressure. The H20 Surge Plus (short Cord for lap swimming) ear buds and the H2O X1's are excellent but pricey, you can check out my reviews there. These additional ear buds are an investment but they do a great job underwater. You can also use the extension this MP3 players provides to extend short cord ear buds, if needed.I have loaded 1200 MP3 songs (192k each song), really happy it's an 8k player. My impression is that this player will play songs in alphabetical order by artist only. So if your playlist is set up that way, then you should be fine with their method but I hate hearing multiple songs by the same artist in a row and prefer mixing them up. The key feature on this product is the shuffle feature and the ability to play a set playlist in the order you want to hear them play. I use that shuffle feature when I get bored with my playlist but the other feature with this product is that it will play your playlist if you put numbers in front of the name or tags. I use a couple of simple free Windows programs called Rename ( a simple app) or Mp3tag (this is a more complex app, but much more flexible if you learn it) that will automatically add numbers to the name of songs I want to hear, in whatever numerical order I want them to play and this player will play them in that order. It also will pick up from that last song the was played previously the next time you turn on the player. (It's a simple feature, but actually have had players that go back to the first song in the list after the player was turned off.)Also some helpful tips on using waterproof ear buds:1. Start with the larger ear bud rubber ends first then work your way down to the smaller sizes if that doesn't fit. If you use the larger sizes, you get a tighter barrier against the water.2. Some people use vaseline (yuck, can you imagine putting that in your ear) or wetting the ear buds lightly in the water before you place them in your ear, they think it secures them in the ear better. But I disagree and I have found the best way to keep them in your ear is to use ear swabs and briefly wipe your ear where the buds go (outside of you ear canal, not the inside). That way you're wiping the oil off you ear and my buds stay in completely during the swim. This is important because if the buds become loose you will get water behind them and you will be hosed for the rest of the swim. However the volume is loud to overcome that with this player, just need to remove the water reset the bud in your ear.3. When you insert them in your ear pull back the top of your ear with your opposite hand, that will stretch it and allow the ear canal to gently wrap snugly around the ear bud.4. If you use the Tennmak foam ear buds I mention below, you don't have to do any of this above. It is rare when the water enters the ear canal if you take these three steps or get foam buds and you can enjoy the music much better. Hope this helps been buying all sorts of waterproof MP3 for years since they first came out and believe me, went through the gamut on these and read many dumb reviews. I hope this sheds lights on swimming with music, which I really enjoy and helps you avoid the learning curve I had to go through. Happy swimming!Updated 01/23I now also use the Tennmak 12pcs Ultra Strong Earphone Memory foam ear tips or any similar products in place of the rubber ones that come with any buds. Just make sure whatever bud tips you purchase sit tight on the ear bud knob so no water gets in. I tried the Tennmak and found that the foam tips expand when you are in the water and provide a much better barrier against water getting inside your ear behind the earbud and ruining the sound. You do need to replace the foam tips since they degrade over time a but you get about 12 for 8 dollars so cheap enough and provides a strong barrier. I also swim a great deal of laps each time so this advice is for those swimmers that do a lot of laps and push against the wall, that's a lot of pressure for ear buds to take. Casual swimmers will be fine with standard earbuds. I highly recommend the Tennkak ear buds with foam tips combined with the Sewobye Waterproof MP3 Player and the H20 short cord ear buds an outstandingt musical swimming experience.

Was sending it back, then kept it, should have sent it back NO reasonable support given, read review
So, I had problems with this thing from the get-go. I was sending it back, then decided to try placing it in rice after using it at the pool each time. Well, that worked until it didn't. Now it won't charge, the pc doesn't recognize it. It's a piece of junk to be honest. Plays the same songs over and over again too. I am not very happy right now :(Customer support from both Amazon and this company have been more harrassment than any type of help. Amazon then offered me a replacement but said I had to pay a restocking fee???!!!! Sooo, ummmm... they are going to put the dead as a doornail mp3 player that was delivered 1 month and 9 days ago, and put it back on the shelf so one of you reading these reviews trying to decide to purchase or not, can receive my 're-stocked' defective player??? WOW! I am in my 60's, I took care of this, it was assisting me with an important component of rehab after a life threatening event 4 months ago. So for both customer support from this company And Amazon to jerk me around like they did, especially it began to affect me medically as it was upsetting. I can't afford to just toss away $60 every month or so, who can? Most seniors can't, that's for sure. So this jerk from Amazon decides the solution is for me to pay an additionaly $12 restocking fee, so they can send me a replacement, and then sell the defective one they are 'restocking' to someone else?? Seems they are also concerned about eating $60. Yeah well, so am I. Hey if they would guarantee me that this junk would no longer be allowed to be sold to anyone, that would be the correct answer. And I wasn't even swimming with this thing, I was doing Aerobic Water Exercise, it was clipped to my bathing suit strap, wasn't even getting submerged, just splashed occasionally. You will need to place it in a bowl of rice after you use it every time AND that will only buy you time until it conveniently dies pretty close to 30 days. I am so disgusted with this item, the people selling it, and the company allowing it to be sold on their platform, that I am now going to think twice before making another purchase on Amazon. Perhaps I will have to wait longer for an item, but dealing with a company that embraces integrity is essential to me. I'm done. My Oregon Scientific waterproof MP3 player lasted 16 years, still recognized by my pc until it died the beginning of May this year. They no longer make them. AND it is/was truly 100% waterproof. AND it actually allowed me to select what I wanted to hear. This defective junk player, plays a few select songs over, and over, and over again.... doesn't matter what you load on it, you will have absolutely no control over it.So, the bottom line is #1, it is NOT waterproof, NOT at all, NADA, nothing, snap!!! And ummmm...excuse me, but isn't that the main and most important feature for most people even considering buying this thing?? I think the answer to that is absolutely, yes, it is. So, out of the box, this thing is NOT waterproof. And until it dries out in some silica gel or a bowl of rice, your pc will not recognize it, so it can't be charged, heck, the pc won't even recognize. Eventually, it will need more time to dry out, like 2-3 days, will take longer to charge. The sound will begin going in and out, then it dies. Once again, conveniently around 30 days. Seriously, who in their right mind believes spending $60 on something the person buying it needs it to last over a reasonable amount of time, generally a year or 2, right? Not this one, not waterproof so it will die. You can't really select your music either. Oh, and the ear plugs are very rigid. I should have followed through with my return, I realize that. What I am most upset over now is the way I was treated when I reached out for assistance regarding the issues with the product. When you tell a support person that you have a medical condition and that what they are doing, just stringing me along just like everyone before had, that it was upsetting me and raising my BP to a dangerous level, for this person to then ramp up his ridiculous and insulting questions like can you check that your pc isn't in sleep mode?? Anyway, it's upsetting me more writing this, but I honestly don't wish for anyone else to have this horrible experience. This so called waterproof MP3 player is not at all what it claims to be, don't purchase. And for what it's worth, the replacement I am going to have to now buy is NOT going to be a purchase on Amazon. That's not going to happen.

Please Don't Buy
I bought these rather expensive Waterproof MP3 Player for Swimming and Running,Underwater Headphones with Short Cord, Shuffle Feature (Black) for Rs9713/-. which I received on 08 Jun 2024. I swam with them about about 10 swim days. About a week back the MP3 just went dead.....no charge, no red light no music! Send a note to the seller over Amazon...no response! Waste of hard earned money.
