Perfect fit and safely works with out looking gaudy !!
I shopped around extensively to find a SAFETY PRODUCT that would look good with my newer model stove/oven once they issued a warning about the knobs being a fire hazard !! They were push in and turn but could accidentally be leaned on and turned on by accident!! THESE RESOLVED MY ISSUE OF SAFETY AND LOOK VERY NICENow it cannot be accidentally turned on ever !!Cost effective/quality solution to fix a potentially serious problem!

Great, simple, effective product, ideal for our needs!
I needed an easy way to make sure I, or my dog, or anyone else for that matter, could not accidently turn on a gas burner in our motorhome. Our house has a gas stove, and I also spent 3 months living in our motorhome while on an extended trip last summer, a couple short trips, then another extended trip for a few months. I had never accidently turned on a gas burner, at home or in the motorhome, untill a couple weeks into the 2nd extended trip. Since the motorhome was very close to two other motorhomes that were a bit noisy when their furnaces turned on, I didnt realize right away that a particular noise was coming from my UNLIT stove. There was an odor that smelled like sewage, but I didnt connect that smell with propane. I thought someone's black tank drain hose was leaking and even went outside to check. It wasn't until I was ready to go to bed a couple hours after the smell started that I checked the noise more closely, and to my horror, one of the burners had been opened. How, I dont know. I must have bumped it, pushed the knob in (otherwise it can't turn), and turned it.The cover (which is additional counter space) for the stove had been up, so I thought just keep the counter cover down when the stove isn't in use. The knobs are then recessed enough, they can't be accidently pushed and turned, since there is rigid towel rack just below the knobs, and the counter sticks out above the knobs.WRONG!A couple days later, it happened again! I have no idea how! It had never happened before, now twice in 1 week?!So I began a search for solutions, which led me here. I considered other designs and mechanisms, but decided to try this first as these looked very simple and effective if they fit properly. I didn't know if I would run into the problems others have had, but I am so glad I tried these first. They fit perfectly with our stove, no chance they can slip out; and when slid into the stop position, the knobs cannot be pushed in far enough to allow them to turn. The cabinetry below, and the built in lip above, help to hold them in place so I'm not even worried about my dog somehow circumventing their design. And the red color allows me to see at a glance if they are in the open or closed position. Great, simple, effective product, easy to install and use!

Good for now, not sure how long they'll be effective.
I like these covers. They are very easy to install and use. The material is sturdy but not abrasive so I'm not worried about them rubbing down the finish on the stove. I tried buying the plastic covers that go over the knobs but our knobs are too close together for those to fit. This was a great alternative. As you can see in the picture, they work great at stoping my 1yo from turning the knobs. With all that being said, I'm not sure how long they'll be effective. They're easier to undo than the plastic covers so I feel like my little guy will figure them out faster than the plastic covers. All in all, I'm glad these are available because my son loves trying to turn these knobs. My only minor complaint is that I wish these came in a 6 pack. Our oven also has a knob and he loves to turn it. I'm probably going to break down and buy another set just for that.

Great concept
I bought 2 sets. One was for a friend with a toddler. This should definitely slow him down in his attempts to cause mayhem. I bought her the gray so that it would blend in with the stove and not stand out to the child as something he should play with. The other was for me. Mine is to defend against the knobs being turned on accidentally as people walk by the stove. It is a tight space in my kitchen, and this has happened with some frequency. So, even though I don’t have children, it is still a valuable safety tool. My set is red so that I can glance over at any time and assure myself, from a distance, that all is well.Previously, I had tried the knob covers. They did prevent accidental turns. But you had to open the cover to check that the knobs were in position. Since I am disabled and obsessive, I much prefer these new devices, since it really does prevent accidental knob turns AND it makes it so easy to check that it is still working.

Si.ple. easy to put on. Effective. Save your life.
Such a simple thing. We should have bought these the first time someone bumped the stove knob... so easy to use. And effective.

Very open to user error
The media could not be loaded. These are a good alternative to the over the knob locks, and they work well when they are installed properly. However, they are very easy to install improperly so you have to check every time that you did get it stuck hard enough. There was a time I thought I had done it right, but all I had managed to do was push the knob in and make it even easier to light. Maybe it’s my stove or maybe I’ll get the hang of it, but a safety product that requires doublechecking is not the safest product.

They work
Purchased a new stove, but unfortunately the knobs are sensitive. These protectors have prevented accidentally turning the stove on which happened a few times before buying them. They do not stand out much, that is nice. I was worried that they might take away the esthetics, but they have not. They were easy to install. And mistake important, they are not a hassle to deal with when you need to cook.
