Outstanding customer service
My 16 yrs old daughter wanted to try a cup but we were not sure which one to buy. As I read many good comments about this company, I decided to order this. Even S size was too big for my daughter so I contacted the customer service. They were very quick and offered to send me a smaller size for free!! However, as I live in Ireland and they're based in US, they could not send the product so they gave me a refund so I could order smaller size. I ordere XS size again and it works perfect for my daughter and she's very happy with it.

Great customer service
I had ordered this and the steamer (which is also great!)I took the size quiz on Pixie’s website which said the XL was the best size for me since having a baby. I loved everything that came with the cup as well. Unfortunately I found the stem uncomfortable after a few hours of wearing. So I contacted Pixie asking for advice on what to do next, in which they have sent free of charge another which would suit me better. Super easy professional and understanding. A service I Highly recommend!!

This is a game changer, absolutely converted!
I was so nervous about using one of these, but now I've tried it I will never go back! (Sorry this is a detailed review so strap in)I've always been a pad user; I have used tampons in the past and felt comfortable using them but a pad just seemed easier for me. I'd seen menstrual cups advertised and saw some people reviewing them. I was interested as it seemed better for the environment but I felt incredibly nervous. After doing some research I found the pixie cup, and the fact that they give these to women in need too was amazing.I had a quick look on their website as they do a variety of cups and wasn't sure which one was right for me (if you're unsure too they have a quick quiz on their website which I recommend doing, especially if you are like me and had no idea how to tell where your cervix was, which a lot of companies recommend you do before buying). I then bought the regular one (as was recommended), and it worked beautifully for me.If you're not sure where to start with what to buy (as there are a lot of different products to chose from) I bought the cup and their menstrual cup wash (which I found incredibly useful as well). I do have the steriliser now too, but I think in terms of necessity you only need the cup itself and the cleaner. The cup does come with wipes which are incredibly useful if you're in a public bathroom, and you can sterilise your cup without the steriliser. I would start with just the cup and the cleaner and see how you go.When the cup first arrived it came with a really great information pack guiding you through. When I first started using it I was apprehensive, and insertion was tricky. A lot of people recommend the C-fold which I tried, but after about two days and leaks I looked up other folds as it just didn't work for me. I ended up trying the punch down fold and found this worked so much better and was 1000 times easier (there are so many ways you can fold it and there are tutorials on YouTube too).Actually using the cup I was so pleasantly surprised by how easy it was. After finding a better fold that worked for me, I can now insert it on the first try. Now I'm a bit more practised I can take it out, clean it, and re-insert it in about five minutes.Taking out the cup was actually really easy from the get-go, I love the bobble at the end of the stem as it is always really easy to find. Cleaning was so easy with the cleaner, and inserting it back in again was easy once I found the right fold for me. In terms of the mechanics of it I find it is obviously harder than traditional period products such as a pad or tampon, and for a while it takes a lot longer. However, it gets easier with practice and time. When the cup was in, I was blown away! There were a few tiny leaks whilst I was getting the hang of it, but I would put it in/change it when I woke up and before I went to work, would do an entire shift (I work quite long hours) with it in and without worrying, and then change it between 8 - 12 hours. It took so much stress and thinking pressure off of me, as I didn't need to worry about leaks or changing it regularly, I just went about my day! There was no odour which was great, and I didn't have that awful wet-pad feeling which I hated, so this was unexpected bonus that didn't occur to me at the time.I felt so much more hygienic, and some days I genuinely forgot I was on my period. It didn't take over my week as much as it usually does. I felt so impressed that I didn't have to worry for up to 12 hours; I am so tired on my period that I can easily sleep for that long and it was relief to know I wouldn't have to set an alarm to get up and change a pad/tampon, or worry about leaks on bedsheets. Changing it in a public bathroom is a bit more tricky, but as said the wipes really help with this and it's very manageable.Sorry this is so long! But I absolutely love this product! I love that my period is less stress now, I feel more hygienic, it's more environmentally friendly, I'm saving money in the long run, it's helping other women, and I can use this 10 years! I was so nervous to use this, but I am absolutely converted and cannot tell you how pleased I am that I've tried it! If you're apprehensive, honestly give it a go. It's a lot of trial and error I think, but once you've figured out what's best for you it's life changing!

Great product.
Good and sturdy rubber. Nice messaging and little pouch to keep it in. Somewhere in the middle for usage for me. I found the Mooncup easier to use than this Pixie cup as this doesn't always open up correctly and requires faffing. However when it works its a good product. I think these things are a lot of personal choice however and I know lots of people love them.

There is hope!
I have used various cups for years without issue before I knew about this brand. However in recent months I’ve began having issues, struggling to get it in, being in pain when I have got it in and leaking despite being fine fore a while before. Because I don’t usually have issues I was panicking thinking there’s something wrong with me and something was going on down there and that I needed to see a doctor, and it made periods incredibly stressful. However I came across Pixie Cup yesterday and saw all the reviews and figured I’m gunna give it one last go. Praise God! There is hope! It went in like a dream and I’ve not been able to feel it inside at all! It’s brought so much relief knowing I can still use cups. Pixie Cups are slightly different in shape and are not as firm as the ones I’ve ever used, so I am super super happy as I did not at all want to have to go back to pads.

It’s a good idea but….
I bought two different size (s and L) but I tried both in the past few months. They both kept falling out when I walk more than 30 mins. I don’t know why. I’m sure I push it in and it opens inside. I wonder if I should buy a XL ?

Life changing
Firstly I want to say thank you.I'm writing this review as today was the 1st day in over 5 years I've been out the house within the 1st 2 days of my period. Usually I can't go anywhere as I'm so heavy and have fibroids. I practiced a few times before my period, ended up using the punchfold technique. As I'm so heavy and I don't know it any other way, I still put my huge Tenna lady pad on incase it leaked. I was out for 7 hours today... I felt so so clean. I got home and went straight to the loo and was so sure I leaked, I didn't not even a drop. I'm in shock!I've spent so many years basically turning my pants into a giant nappy and having to stay at home. This has given me life.Thank you xx

Sadly a waste of money.
I've been using cloth pads for years, wanted to use a menstrual cup so I could still go swimming whilst on. Sadly this cup was not for me. Tried it for a couple of days and sadly both sizes were too firm and uncomfortable. The cup itself rubbed scar tissue from where I had an episiotomy/birth injury. Would not recommend at all. I think I'll just stick to reusable pads and skip swimming whilst on.

Why Didn’t I Try This Sooner?!
Okay I’m about to get real and graphic so if you can’t handle what I’m about to share, skip this review.I’m 5’4’’ and morbidly obese at about 330 pounds. I would shop for my wallet killers aka pads and tampons down the same aisle when I need to replenish. I kept looking at the Diva Cup on the shelf and was turned off by the price. That’s what gets me...the price. Was I that willing to fork over a ridiculous amount of money for something that’s supposed to save me so much more the rest of my life? No lol! Money is too tight these days.So I broke down and asked in a makeup group I’m in on Facebook about the Diva Cup and what their thoughts were on it. A vast, large majority said it was best thing they ever had. Which is exactly what I wanted to hear. I needed to hear the support whether it was good or bad. So I ordered this at the tail end of my period so it’s not like I had a lot of “obstacles” in the way trying this out.I’m a very huge woman so I found that doing the trifold method versus just folding the cup over once worked best for me. I relaxed my muscles and just pretended like it was a tampon I’m inserting only it’s a purple silicone funnel lol! I tried inserting standing up and it just wasn’t working for me. I did wayyyyy better sitting down on the toilet which is best when you have to take it out anyway. I almost had it perfectly placed the first time inserting it. Reading the directions first put me at ease. Little things like you can pee with it in and not to use it for post natal bleeding. It was nice to read the small pamphlet for helpful tips, advice and how to take care of your menstrual cup. It felt funny at first and then I made myself move around more. I sat down on the sofa and I felt the cup go up more and I felt even more comfortable. One thing’s for sure, you can’t be afraid to get friendly with your “southern territory” so that you can make sure the cup is positioned like it should. Don’t be afraid to push the cup up higher. If you feel like something is stuck down below, it’s probably not in right. When it feels comfy, you’ll know. Some will feel it and others won’t. For me, I know it’s there and yes I feel it but it’s not an annoyance. I never felt uncomfortable to the point I need to adjust it.For those of you that work a lot, this cup is supposed to serve no leak protection for up to 12 hours and it’s true. I get up in the morning and unplug to shower and sanitize my cup. I pop it in and although it’s supposed to be leak free protection, there’s nothing wrong with putting on a panty liner for insurance. So that’s what I do. I go to work as normal and by the time I get home, I unplug, clean, sanitize and shower. I’m usually at my heaviest on day 2-3 and I go 5 days max when I’m on my cycle on average. I work at a daycare (for now....last day is in three days and then I’m going to a desk job!). Working with kids you’re up and down, constantly moving.I wore a panty liner and the Pixie Cup today and there was no leaking whatsoever and no discomfort of any kind. No smells. No blood on my underwear. No tampon in sight. No long Infinity pads the size of an eagle’s wing span. Being so big is so tough. I’ll have a heavy cycle and I’ll wear the Super absorbency tampon with a Heavy or Overnight absorbency Always Infinity pad at the same time. And having a big backside it just sucks up my underwear and then blood can easily got up the crack of my butt no matter what kind of menstrual armor I put on and I have to go to the bathroom just to wipe myself up. Granted, I wear black pants everyday, but blood can smell and no one is gonna tell me I smell but they might if I’m not around. Or I go to the bathroom and sit down on the toilet and there’s blood on the back part of the toilet. So I wipe the blood away and Lysol the toilet until it’s dead and wipe it down like I’m getting paid for it. I hated how I would smell and I was changing my pads and tampons. This Pixie Cup has given me peace of mind and freedom. For once, something makes me feel good about myself. Maybe once I get this weight loss surgery next year I’ll be even more confident in my body and struggle less with inserting this Pixie Cup. We have a 9 year old and 2 year old, both girls. So maybe when that time of the month starts for them, it might be something for them to consider if they’re comfy with it and save some money and protect their bodies in the long run. It’s important that they make their own choices when it comes to what they wanna do with the feminine products they use. Since I’m now educated in the benefits of a menstrual cup, not just for saving money, but for better health practices too, it’s another option for our daughters to consider when that time comes for them.Another important thing I was worried about is this thing disappearing into my body and I never see it again. For those of you that have had a child, push like you’re pushing a baby out and you’ll see the end of the cup and remove it. For those of you who haven’t had a baby, push as if you’re trying to pee or like your trying to have a bowel movement. I always wondered that if I shove this thing up there, will it want me to retrieve it haha. Keep in mind I’m a very big woman so when I sit down, that Tsumani-like force of my butt pressing against any surface is going to move things North, South, East and West I ain’t lying. And I still was able to get it out.So yes, I’m impressed with this, told my mom about my experience and how much I liked it. She didn’t even know something like this existed even though it’s been out for a long time now. I explained to her how it’s used, the benefits, etc. She wish she had it when she started her cycle. As far as the cleansing wipes, they’re good and if you wanna go cheaper, you can always have a small bathroom clutch bag and store some unscented baby wipes in a zip lock or get a travel sized pack of wipes and store it inside of your bathroom clutch so that you can easily clean your cup in the bathroom if you’re out in public or at your place of business. In case you might drop your cup in the toilet, get a backup cup or have a backup pad or two just to keep yourself covered until you can properly sanitize it once you get home. I even used Vagisil to clean my Pixie Cup and very hot water. I’m cheap, I try to use what I have before spending a ton of money right away.Hope this review helped!
