Good product
This is a good product for learning on. I use it to learn to code and to learn to control things like motors and sensors. The only thing that I do not like is that it has very minimal instructions. I have had to hunt down examples for almost anything that I wanted to do with it. Also I have not been able to find a good pin out diagram for this product. Over all it it a good learning tool.

PCM/I2S conflict with on-board ADC
There's much to like about this board. The on-board 40-pin header for compatibility with other RPi projects appeared to be a nice bonus. Unfortunately, the on-board ADC is hard wired to GPIO 16, 20, and 21, and its power and chip select pins are hard wired, too. This means that it conflicts with PCM/I2S operation (which uses GPIO 18-21) on the standard (RPi) 40-pin header. This makes my project developed on RPi 3 B+ and RPi Zero W incompatible with this board.

Who dumped Lego on my desk?
I have to admit that I bought this for pure novelty value. Collector's item, the first widely distributed third party compute module backplane.I would give it 5 stars if not for incomprehensible labeling and twisted IO choices.I suggest a Googly Eye shield from Evil Mad Scientist to complete the visual appeal.Happy making!

Great development board
Great development board for raspberry a little bit hard to get the boot card working but worth the time. Lots of little things on board to experiment with.

Dip switches to access eMMC
I used it to read and write to CM3’s eMMC. Works just fine after setting the DIP switches.See picture.SetBOOT EN = ENUSB SLAVE 1/2/3/4 =. OpenUSB SLAVE POWER = Closed

Display ports are 22 pin!
Only thing I don't like about this board is it has 22 pin connectors for the display ports instead of the more standard 15 pin connectors (all the screens for the standard PI's are 15 pin...so I guess I'll be reversing this pinout or something...).

Didn't work - waste of time and money
Bought this to flash a RPi CM3. Couldn't get it to work. After trying several different cables, trying multiple raspberry pis, and different computers and OS's I finally went ahead and bought an official RPi CM3 IO Board. That worked like a charm and flashed the RPi on the first try. Maybe it works for other things, but don't buy this for flashing boot images
