Seems like this fan is not intended to use in printers with thermal box!
Nice little fan. Though it started sounding worse just in couple weeks of work in 50C thermal box. It was whining high at the begining, now it sounds more like starting engine of the small plane. I fear it will not survive month and a half. :-(

Took one apart. It acutally DOES HAVE 2 BALL BEARINGS!
That's right -- actual ball bearings, not a single, long bushing. In the past, any time a fan started squealing, I'd take it apart and oil it. That never lasts very long, so I decided to try these fans. I peeled the label off the back, and removed the small plastic retainer clip then pulled the fan blades out of the housing. There's a tiny ball bearing on each end. I put a drop of oil on both bearings and re-assembled them. They are quiet for a small fan. Remember, a small fan has to spin fast in order to move air, so consequently, it will make more noise than a fan twice the size. There's a slight whine, but not much more than the fan on most laptop computers. One thing I noticed is that this fan is 10mm thick as compared to most small fans which are normally 7mm. I think that's the only way they can pack 2 real ball bearings into the unit. I had to modify the case of the controller on my CNC router to make it fit, but if it stays quiet, I'm OK with it.I have one running but it's only been on a couple hours. If it fails early, I'll report back.

WINSINN Fans Are Simply The Best - Quiet - Long Lasting - Well Made
I have an Ender 3 Max that I installed a direct drive extruder hotend assembly. The 3010 hotend cooling fan failed. It was a standard bushing type bearing fan. I replaced it with this Winsinn dual ball bearing fan. What a difference! This runs quiet, smooth and they last and last. Great fans. Good price. All in all the best for 3D printer application. I'm running the 24 volt version. These are well worth a full 5 stars!

Great for 3d printers.
These are for a 24v system. They are quite and only suck on one side. Lol! Definitely recommend.

Don't Expect Quiet
These fans are, to put it bluntly, loud! I replaced a heatsink fan for my Creality CR-6 SE printer with this fan and I think it made it louder. This might be great for projects where you need white noise, but it's not good for silencing your 3D printer. Avoid these if you're wanting something that's quiet.

Worked too well for my application!
Wow these things are much faster than expected. I didnt read the "high speed" when purchasing, as I was only looking for more or less any 24v fan of this size and didnt really care about specs beyond that. I was fixing the cooling fan on my 3D printer and was more interested in getting a replacement asap then anything else. However altho these did fix my issue, the fan actually moved so much air that now my printer is having trouble heating up the hotend haha. I cant complain tho, thats more my printer's design flaw then this fans. One small complaint they are noisy lil buggers! Much louder than any other fan on any of my other printers. A noctua this is not. But if noise isnt an issue then these appear to be great lil high speed fans.

Great Replacement
I was hesitant to purchase these after reading some of the reviews, but decided to get them anyway. I'm glad I did! This fan was a great replacement for the cooling fan for my Laser Engraver. The fan in my engraver was starting to make noise and slowed to the point that it was barely moving any air. This fan was the exact size and mounted perfectly to the back of the laser module. It's very quiet and has better air flow than the original. I got the 5 pack because the rate that my laser is in use, I could see wearing out another fan in the future so I'll have extras. Very pleased.

24vdc ball bearing brushless fan operation
I needed to add some cooling fans to the driver for a stepper motor. The driver chip runs pretty hot when the stepper is under load, and can push about 2amps. The fans have a high duty cycle, as they are on whenever the driver for the stepper is on. This means that brushless motors built with ball bearings is a must-have. So far, these fans have worked exactly as I have needed, while still being at a great price-point. I would give them a 5-star rating, but I don't have enough operating time on them yet to know that they will last for the long haul. They have run for several days without any problems.

Great quality fairly quiet but more importantly reliable
Used in my 3d printers, I used the cheaper sleeve bearing fans before and they last about a month. Installed these and 3 months later still going strong, at the same speed and no weird noises.Stick with the thought of buying cheap and buying twice with these fans, for the hassle to of 10 minutes swapping them and having machine downtime, I would definitely get ball bearing all the time now.

Noisy, but powerfull
Coolers produce a lot of noise. But performance is really great.Quality good. I have different WINSINN and all the time quality and packaging in the plastic box is very nice.At the same time, price is really well.Very good solution
