I’ve used a number of products to disguise my greys between dyes and this one is the easiest to use in my opinion. The wand gives the illusion of hair strokes rather than the solid coverage you get with the spray, also allot easier to control when using on hairline and sideburns. The powder products irritate my scalp, which this one does the day after I use it if I don’t wash my hair. Coverage lasts around 12-16 hours, so works well. Doesn’t transfer onto pillow, provides a natural coverage. Only downside is it’s small so you go through the bottle pretty quickly. For reference my t-section is 70% grey so might not be good for full coverage on fully white/glass roots.

The idea is good but I didn’t get on that well with it. The wand was not the right design for me. I found the teeth of the brush too small and the product just clumped in the middle of the wand. It took a while to dry and could be a little messy. Definitely made my hair a little greasey. Did managed to cover a few of the greys so gave it three stars.

I love this product. I have been using it for some time. It's great for touching up between colouring my hair. It's quick and easy to use in the roots when the telltale greys peel through. It's not messy and can easily be combed in without colouring the scalp! The size is small enough to keep in a make up bag so can always be at hand. As easy to apply as mascara. It lasts a surprisingly long time.

This product is brilliant at covering grey when it first is applied and I was delighted with the result initially. That was until the next day when I found the colour had worn off and I had to renew it. Not only that, this made the bits of hair I had coloured sticky and stiff. This is going to make it an expensive product and, as it doesn’t last, I might as well have used my mascara!!Does not live up to its promise. Unusual for L’Oreal and very disappointing as I thought I could always rely on quality from them.

This really didn’t help much to cover my grey hairs, unfortunately - though perhaps part of the problem is that my grey is very scattered and there isn’t much of it (yet!) so it really needed to be precise to work. The mascara doesn’t really sink into the hair, and I found it very difficult to use the wand to capture the right bits. The colour was also what I’d think of as a more medium brown, with a strong copper tinge, and if you get some on your hands it does look like a kind of sparkly metallic paint. (I probably should have got black, though, as my hair is very dark brown.) The colour might suit someone with very warm/reddish brown hair, and it’s cheap so might be worth a try, but I personally found it ineffective.
