The Sambar though has a nice taste, not same but, comparable to Udipi restaurants in Mumbai. The ingredients in the Sambar are not entirely soluble though and settle in the bottom. Yet giving it 5 stars because of the taste, keeping in mind that it's a ready-to-eat product and most of ready-to-eat items taste either bland or bad. The cost of the product is sort of OK but the additional delivery charges make it a bit uneconomical. Can order multiple numbers if the delivery charge is done away with.Note: The paper tub has a marking on the outside indicating the level upto which hot water must be poured.

OK.. Nothing great
The taste is alright.. Not that is tasty or anything.. Its like boiled water and rice idli.. The masala does not mix well..So it does not do justice to flavours

Not expected to be this Great in taste.
First of all never expected to be so good in taste for ready to eat meal.It's a great product for those binge watching movies at night or traveling outside. And want a quick Snack.Just add hot water into it and keep it close for few mins and its done. So easy and so tasty.I think the only think they can improve is add some more idlis into the cup.

Tasteless
The product was not worth the money or the effort. A huge way to go, towards improvement.The sambar , tasted like mud at the bottom and water on top , it would not mix well. No consistency.I would be glad if I dont fall sick.Idli is a great food , anyone can have anytime, but this way processing it, spoils the flavour and the taste of it.

Remove the extra idlis, or modify instructions/box size
Extra idlis have been added in the pack as an afterthought. This sounds good at first, but causes the product to fail when you add water till the mark, as instructed. After 8 minutes, you will end up with a soggy mess at the bottom of the container, all the water having been absorbed by the idlis.Freshway remains the best brand I have sampled for these, followed by Aashirvaad. Aashirvaad idlis are a bit rubbery compared to Freshway. Both are mildly spiced.Edit: Even without adding the extra idlis, the sambar does not dissolve in water completely. The powder accumulates as a thick muddy paste at the bottom of the container after 8 minutes.

Amazing Sambhar Idlis
Amazing find. The idli tastes really good and fresh. Comes in an eco friendly packing. There is a mark given in container till which you have to fill in hot water and put in the sambar powder, soak the idlis and leave for 5-10 mins and eat hot sambar idli. There are 12 mini idlis, delicious and very filling. Excellent breakfast option on the go.
