Best pressure washer pump period!
Install very easy, wish I could say the same for the removal of the old pump, had to cut the old pump coupler the long key way in order for it to come loose on Honda 390 motor, to limit any damage to motor.More power than old Italian pump! Had a Cat pump before and it outlasted the motor! I bought a rotary nozzle which turns washer into a beast, should be used cleaning concrete or rusty metal, will rip decals and paint off equipment.Does exactly what I bought this pump for- love it!

This is NOT the unit you get
I will start by saying the overall unit is solid and appears to be well made, especially the pump and flange exhibit excellent overall build quality and comes loaded with oil and is ready to go right out of the box. In addition the pump has a great reputation and is made in USA which is what I was after. The protective packaging is good and the unit arrived in perfect order. The pump bolted right up to the Honda GX390 and for the 3 hours of initial use performed outstanding exceeding my expectations. With proper oil changes and winterizing I expect the pump to last for a very long time.The downside. Northern Tool took far too long to ship the item. More importantly the stainless steel manifold and unloader pictured in the item photo on Northern Tool and Amazon website IS NOT the manifold and unloader that I received with my pump. The unit I received is brass with black knobs. Neither the Amazon or Northern Tool web site advise of any potential component substitutions so I EXPECTED TO RECEIVE THE PICTURED ITEM with the stainless components.The only reason I kept the unit is by that time I was so desperate to get my pressure washer up and running again I decided to keep what I received and hope for the best with the unexpected components mounted to the pump.So far this appears to be an awesome pump, but beware this may or may not be the item you will receive from Northern Tool.

Works great. ....but one word of caution ..... never take it to Northern Tool for ANY repairs.
