Well its Heavy Duty! Sort of.
The media could not be loaded. It's a heavy lock. Has a little door to protect the keyway. Good shackle length, "looks" secure. Good outside covering for weather resistance. The bad part, it's insecure in its lock core. You can pick it open faster than you can with the key. Would I trust this to secure my garage, shed, outhouse? Probably not.Locking our shed with a ziptie would be more secure. Put this in a bin. OR on top of some paper you don't want to fly away, it's heavy!!I'm not sure why company's get everything right, good look, good shackle, weather resistant, then just throw a lock core in it willy nilly. You can tell a company it's flaw, but will they listen? Probably not. Even if they know there is a gapping hole in its security.Agree most people don't carry lock picks with them and burglars are going for the smash and grab technique. So I guess for that it's ok. But to think this is going to protect you from theft, well that's on you.But if the core is poor it makes the lock USELESS!! I would rather tie a bread wrapper around my lock hasp than use this it would be more secure and take longer to get off.The commercial part confuses me, to be honest. Unless they mean, a commercial for how to get everything right and still fail miserably.Of course this is my opinion and for me, I don't have a new lock but I do have a fancy new paper weight. a $14 paper weight, so it's a WIN?? I guess.

Impressed
I usually buy Master locks. This lock is less expensive and appears to be equally well made.

Major packaging
If the packaging is any indication of the sturdiness of the lock, it's going to be impossible to break into. The packaging it tough and nearly impossible to cut into. the weight of the lock is heafty. Haven't used it yet, but I anticipate it will be just what I wanted.

A bit pricey for what it is but it does the job
The lock seems to have good weatherproofing material on it. A little pricey for what it is. It does the job though. We'll see how it holds up.

Great lock
Feels nice and secure, no issue with key fitting in alot and have had no issue with it not locking securely. It's been on the back of my work truck for a few months now and has yet to give me a single issue with unlocking, key goes in smooth, turns smooth, and pops right open, very satisfied
