I added it to my melt and pour soap for lathering purposes, it works well. I add oils and such moisturizing stuff to my soaps, it makes the soap not suds up very well sometimes.... Kind of like some moisturizing lotion body washes, they still clean your skin but don't foam up, it's just feels kind of like rubbing conditioner on yourself and I don't like how that feels. I like bubbles! No matter what anybody else says I do not feel clean unless my soap or body wash foams up. I don't like soap and body washes that are too moisturizing either, then I just feel greasy and It like, defeats the purpose of even taking a shower in the first place. After I added this stuff I felt like it helped clean off any extra residue that would normally stick to my skin. Stirred this stuff right into my soap base in the double boiler and it worked great, just don't stir it too fast or it will suds up easily in the pot and cause bubbles in your soap bars. Maybe that's just my problem I'm a high energy person and I stir things vigorously 😅 Plus if you add glitter/mica/dyes they can sink to the bottom of the pot if it's not stirred enough, so I can over-do the stirring, I end up beating it like it owes me money. Haven't had any issues with my skin, I have sensitive and combination skin *eye roll* I didn't have any kind of irritation or reaction when I showered with a couple of the bars I've made using it. I made some soap for friends as well and haven't heard any complaints, I asked for constructive criticism and said I could tweak the recipe if people don't like it.... So far nobody's told me to change anything 😁

Cocamidopropyl Betaine (is not natural or organic, and is a carcinogen). Coco Betaine is plant based and harmless. It provides the lathering properties. Very deceptive. Google it!
