Works well. But
Nice looking little pot and it works fine but it is a bit small. Only three cups and you have to watch your temperatures with it as any stove top appliance

Just the teapot I was looking for!
Received this teapot today. 2 potfuls later, I couldn't be any happier with it. We use the small Chinese tea cups. So the 700ml capacity goes a long way and can share with 3 or more people. If you use regular size coffee mugs, then you can get 2 cupfuls, as stated by the other reviewers. It has a great modern/contemporary look! The infuser fits perfectly inside and the lid snaps into place on top. The infuser is perfect for fine/small teas. I use a Rooibos tea and I've always had problems with the small bits going through other infusers. The mesh is very fine in this infuser and keeps all the tea in. I paired this with the "SAHARA Teapot Warmer by GROSCHE" ($11) that I purchased here on Amazon. Works great with it and fits perfectly. No issues with the bottom of the teapot scorching/burning with the teapot warmer. This teapot definitely cannot be put on a stovetop, as stated in the directions. With that, the only con is that the glass is very thin. With care, you should be able to get some life out of this pot. At this price point, you really can't complain. I'll be buying more of these for gifts. Highly recommended!

Perfect single-serve teapot!
I am absolutely in love with this teapot. It is made incredibly well for something this price, and it is the perfect size for a breakfast/afternoon tea. It fills about 2 1/2 of my standard (not very large, average sized) mugs, and keeps whats left in the pot decently warm. The strainer lets no leaves fall through unlike many other tea strainers I have tried. I have used it a few times and pour 180 degrees Fahrenheit water directly into the pot, and I have yet to experience any issue with cracking. It comes nicely boxed and would make a really nice gift! Be aware that this pot is not a kettle, and is not stove-top safe or microwave safe, so you need to heat the water separately. My only complaint with this product is that the removable strainer was bent oddly (it may be designed that way) making it slightly awkward to remove and insert. All in all, this is a perfect single serve teapot for an unbeatable price.I will update this review once I have had it for longer!

This pot is beautiful, with minor drawbacks
First, let me say, this pot will last 5x longer than its plastic/acrylic counterparts.I own a tea/coffee/kava bar. We sometimes have pots break and need a quick fix replacement -- That's what this was for us. Here's the basic breakdown.Pros: Lasts way longer than its non-metal counterparts.Parts do NOT rustParts do NOT warpEasy to cleanParts fit together well, lock into place securelyStrainer is mesh, so finer teas (like Maté) do not fall through the cracks (no other teapot this price has this feature)The handle stays cool to the touch. (There are other reviews which don't say this, but I can't even imagine how that's possible. Like I said, I own a tea store. If you are steeping tea at the CORRECT temperatures, there is NO WAY that this handle should ever heat up. I can't help but think that the people who have this problem just don't know how to brew their tea. Every type of tea has a unique steeping temperature. That temperature should generally never go above 200F. For green teas, generally 175F, with Oolongs generally 180-190F, for black tea, generally 190-200F (with some exceptions on all of these, and depending on how long it is allowed to steep) Anyway, if you use this correctly, that handle will remain cool to the touch.Cons: There's really only one. The lid gets super hot when the tea is steeping. You just have to be careful.

My expectations were too high? Is not stove top safe?! What am I suppose to do with this junk?
first of all I needed a STOVETOP SAFE POT!Teapot is cute design but I fear the quality of it is what is the deal breaker... I can "heat" water, but it takes a long while since I have to literally prep the water in another POT before pouring it into the tea pot. Totally defeats my purpose of ordering a stovetop safe pot. The handle it plastic and you can see screws all over it, it almost seems like a child might have built it. Definitely, I believe they should specify the size of the "cup" they are referring to for reference b/c it holds about 1 1/2 cup (American) although that wouldn't be an issue for me as I own Chinese tea cups as well. Also, the product description on Amazon is a flat out lie..... I needed stovetop safe... This is not!even if I hadn't needed a STOVETOP SAFE POT,I really think the quality is bad. The metal is thin. The handle seems almost loose, the handle is plastic-not stainless steel - leaves get stuck under the top inner ring and that piece alone is strange since it is paper thin (the inner ring by the spout and top).

CERY SMALL TEAPOT, CANT MICROWAVE
Nice teapot but it practical. The item cannot be used in a microwave, cannot be detached. It isn't very large, about four small cup full. Nice as a decoration but not practical if you need large useage. I liked it's look, but not its usage.

Very nice, high quality stainless steel tea pot, that is both functional and very attractive.
This is a very nice, high quality stainless steel tea pot, that is both functional and very attractive. It was smaller than expected, but actually creates more than enough tea for a single sitting. In fact the full 700ml equates to almost 24oz which is four 6 oz servings, so it is generous enough for a small group of friends. I will say that I did not heat water in this tea pot, but rather I heated water in my electric kettle to the precise temperature for the style of tea being brewed and then poured this water into this teapot to brew the tea. This way I am able to precisely control the temperature and it is less likely that I damage this attractive tea pot on my antiquated stove.
