TrixieBarrier, with door

The media could not be loaded.  The search for a barrier was arduous! So many types. So many reviews. With our Victorian bannister it was a search to get one that fit.Although it cost more then most, it works and looks very nice. Since we are going to be living with it a while I’m happy we looked at aesthetic.We’ve attached the outer end with a knotted ribbon keeping the bow on the inside so puppy couldn’t chew it open.We had it ready for puppy arrival. It’s been about a month now. She understands the upstairs is not her place. She gets excited when we come down and greets us with respect. She doesn’t try to get up the stairs. That may happen but that’s up to our training.It feels sturdy. We don’t need the stabilisers for this layout.I like the gate opening. It’s double jointed. Works well.So we are very pleased so far. She’s a medium dog, typically playful and has only attempted to chew the ribbon twice. It all takes training over the weeks.Happy to answer any questions and if anything changes I’ll keep updating.Dec 28th 2020.Feb update and we still love this!!!Our pup knows not to come passed it or try. She gets excited when she sees us and wait for us to open the gate.

It’s reasonably stable however our 16 week cockapoo has still managed to push past it on several occasions, which is annoying. We didn’t want a stair gate that fixes to the wall hence we went for this - it’s good but not quite doing what we want it to do! It’s also quite expensive for what it is.

Great barrier but my door latch broke after about 2 months ☹️ But I can still use it

Overall not very substantial. Lock on first gate broke. Returned and replacement received, but lock does not engage very well and rather poor. Also, rather expensive.

Great wooden gate. It’s just what I needed. In terms of sturdiness, it’s as sturdy as what you would be a free standing gate is. It moves a little but pretty impressed so far. My pup can’t knock it over. I took off the 4th panel so it would fit. I’m happy with it.

Looks nice, but flimsy MDF. Mine broke after about two weeks completely. For the money, it should be far, far better!

We needed a non-permanent internal barrier for a couple of dogs and this has perfectly fitted the bill.

We love the way this barrier can adapt to block off spaces across a wider or narrower gap. It is relatively sturdy, as long as it is set up well. It is reasonably attractive and not too heavy. The latch on the doorway is not very reliable - it easily pops out -- but we've just put a piece of wire there, to tie the doorway closed. We are very glad that we bought it - it's simpler and more flexible than many doorway gates.

Easy to place/move while keeping our pups where we want them - and out of where we don’t want them. The little wooden feet help provide additional sturdiness. This set is very configurable and easy to add on additional panels, if needed.

Ottimo prodotto, molto solido

Pratique car facile à déplacer et à moduler en largeur. Par contre il faut ajouter une fixation car mes chiots savent pousser la barrière.

Producto adecuado para hacer de separación. Lo usamos para impedir que nuestro conejo salga de su zona y por la altura de la valla, cumple su objetivo impidiendo que salte. Además decorativamente queda bastante bien.
