Pan Pasand Gold Candy (140 Pc) 500gram

I was first introduced to these lovely candies when I was 15 and living overseas by a Goan friend. She would bring me a few everyday - I was hooked! I'm 40 now and still remember how I loved these candies and decided to search for them at my local Indian grocer. All I could manage to tell him was that they were a "Pan" candy in a green and red wrapper. Needless to say, my grocer kindly asked for me to provide him with an actual name. Luckily, my search on Amazon yielded immediate results and now my friends and family get to indulge too. I have read other reviews that describe this candy as tasting like "soap"...I beg to disagree but admit they are probably an acquired taste if you're used to a bland palate of Budweiser, burgers and burritos! Give these a go if you're adventurous!

We ordered these for a school project my daughter is doing on India. The candies arrived on time and were double bagged and individually wrapped. The taste is not my cup of tea (kind of a cross between pachouli and soap in my opinion) but my daughter likes them and plans to hand them out at her presentation.

I bought this for my husband, who loves it! It was a delightful surprise and he's very happy to have it readily available. The packaging was great and the candy arrived in record time. Couldn't be more pleased!

The package is what it is. I mean nothing exciting with this candy. I generally love Pan Pasand, but this time it tasted different. I wasn't sure if that was me or the product. I haven't had it in years and wanted to indulge my sweet tooth. Overall experience with the vendor was painless. I received my product a little later than I liked but nothing earth shattering. The experience with this vendor was good.

I think they taste like soap.

The weight and amount or volume of candies is much lesser than written in description. I contacted seller, no response! It is a waste of money. If you want to just flow with your old days emotions, you may want to get this... otherwise do not waster your money on this. Thumbs down.

was hoping to get the yummy Ravalgon pan pasand. They sent a fake one that has fennel seeds in it. total waste and tastes horrible. don't buy. Go and buy the real stuff
