Does it work?
I had been diagnosed by my GP with Trigger Finger and I wanted to get some help and support. I had one 'splint' that did cover the ring finger but didn't give a lot of support. The one that I saw advertised on Amazon did indicate that it may help. I got it and yes, it did do some supporting but it needs far better instruction about how to fit it. The 'Velcro' type fastening was of quite a poor quality and it would have been sensible (and desirable) to have spent just a little more (and yes, charged that much more) to get the product right. The steel bar that gives the support eventually started to wear through the cloth material of the splint and eventually started to come out. This was repaired with a few stitches but once again, a slightly better material would have done a far better job. If it meant another few pence more to get it right, why not spend that. To get a good product easily covers the extra cost.

Great support for trigger finger
As good as a bespoke one from my rheumy OT. Had very bad trigger finger from doing too much. 2 days of rest with the splint i now have movement in my finger. Velcro is fused not stitched, I am ignoring the hard edge and it doesn't really interfere. Good adjustment, fit and affordable.

Doesn't work well
Been over a month or 2 and still got trigger finger. The metal stability part doesn't stay in properly and keeps coming out and making it not fit well. The but where your finger goes, detaches from the velcro loop make the ease of use and performance poor. The comfort at first was fine to begin with.. Now not soo good.Because of all the problems, the value for money isn't goodWhen you sleep, your hands do close and because of that, the metal pushes out and digs into my hand.
