Allergies no more!
I made my dog’s food for 7 yeas because my bulldog has food allergies. So exhausted from constantly doing this (super expensive too) that I decided gave Acana Duck & Pear a try. My dog loves it almost as much as what I used to cook and allergies are still under control. I appreciate their use of USA produced proteins, etc. Yay!

Might be poisonous
So I’ve been buying this food religiously for two years... 18 month’s ago my dog started having seizures. We got his neurological issues under control with very expensive monthly medications so I never made the connection to the food.It’s just come out that this food has very high levels of lead and other heavy metals. Beware!

Highly recommend for allergies AND taste
My dog was very itchy and we tried a number of different high end foods and none helped until someone at the pet store recommended this brand. Solved our allergies right away. Also my dog (Border Collie) is not a foodie and usually has to be encouraged and rewarded to eat, but she loves this food and eats it right away instead of letting it linger. Your dog has to get used to the portions as you feed them about 1/2 the quantity of your other food, otherwise they will get chubbie. NO FILLERS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great quality
Great food, I alternate between duck and fish for my French bulldog. love that this company sources ingredients from USA and keeps the protein at the top - no fillers. You can really tell the quality when you open it up, some of the oils are along the side of the bag.

Overpriced
The food is good but through Amazon the bag was more than 1/3 more expensive than at the local Petco.

Was really wanting the original Canadian version of this food as it is FAR superior to the American version
Based on the picture and description of the product listing, I expected to receive exactly the item pictured.... The original Canadian version is the product pictured and described. I received the product that is made in the USA.. There is a HUGE difference in the ingredients in the American and Canadian versions of this food. Was really wanting the original Canadian version of this food as it is FAR superior to the American version, which is sad. Will not be ordering this again.
