It works!
Purchased this for my TH-D74. I attached it to a portable solar panel and my radio and it started charging immediately. Nice to have several charging options. Thank you.

Does what it says. Boosts voltage from 5 to 12 and slowly charges radio at a few mA

Not an actual power supply only a charger
USB Cord handy for charging only. The cord only supplies barely over 11v It will not let you use and transmit as the radio will shut down when you do transmit. Had I known this I would not have purchased. The cord is built okay and charges fine but that's it, I believe stating it is a power supply is misleading.

Only good for charging
This will severely interfere with receiving and don't even attempt to transmit while using it!I tested the output and it is outputting around 11.87 volts, so it charges my device, but that's it.
