Simple & Tasty Everyday Recipes
This is exactly the kind of low FODMAP recipe book I was looking for. I tried a different one previously and returned it because the foods were too out of the ordinary for me (If I don't know what some of the ingredients are, how am I supposed to find them in the grocery store AND cook with them?). This book has everyday kind of recipes, adjusted to be low FODMAP. I have tried many so far, including turkey burgers, breakfast pork patties, overnight oatmeal, banana and carrot muffins, and this week will try the spaghetti carbonara. I love them all so far! This book is what I needed to really jump in to the low FODMAP diet, but still feel like I'm eating tasty food, and enough food.

Not for beginners, Least favorite out of three
Of the three IBS Cookbooks I purchased, this one is my least favorite of the three I purchased:Pros of The 28-Day Plan for IBS Relief:1.Page 39 is the start outline of the 28 day plan. I do like that they have a menu, guidance on reactions and a shopping list to make it as easy as a process to eliminate any planning or thought process. You just follow the plan as outline. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy2. They have nutrition facts at the bottom of each recipe so it makes it easy if you want to calorie count/achieve weight loss in the future.3. Their FODMAP Tips tell you which foods you should avoid in overindulgence.Cons of The 28-Day Plan for IBS Relief (thus my 3 star rating):1. I don't think this is a great book for beginners as you may be learning what your body can and cannot tolerate and their first weeks plan includes both Tomatoes and Peppers which are on the Moderate FodMap and not the Low Fodmap. If you truly don't understand how your body is going to react to certain foods yet, I wouldn't recommend this book2. It lacks pictures of food and I am inspired by photos of the food I plan to eat.

Great explanations, great recipes
This was the first FODMAP book I bought, and I found it very helpful with clear, simple explanations of FODMAP. The plan was easy to follow, and I appreciated that they even included shopping lists for each week. I ended up hiring a nutritionist to help me follow the plan, but if you're committed to doing it yourself, I think this book will help you. I love the recipes too, every one I've tried has been delicious! Highly recommend this book.
