Great beginners set
Great beginners set! Knives are very sharp and the handles are comfortable to hold. A small sheet of instructions would have been nice. A stencil would be nice to start off with. I bought these because of an article in a woodworking magazine, which had instructions and a design. So, it wasn't necessary for me, but for others instructions would be helpful.

Worked good on our youth campout. I would say it is the best of the non professional knives.

Great. Are exactly as advertised.
Good. Very sharp right out of the package. After going to a Warren knife system, I can't justify buying individual knives like this (or at least not of a regular knife style, push knifes make sense), though I'm sure there is a time and a place for it.

Flexcut Carving Knives
Excellent quality knives. They do hold their sharpness for quite a long time. I make sure I strop them every two hours of use and they work flawless. They are expensive but the quality is where you make up during carvings. They are well designed for the hands and after several hours of wood carving, ones hands do not get exhausted.

Flexcut Chip Carving 3 Piece Set Amazing!
I can honestly say that this is one the best purchases that I have made. I recommend these knives to anyone who wants to get into chip carving. The knives arrived very sharp and ready to use out of the box the set also included a bar of flexcuts gold strop compound. I have did great work with these knives and could not be happier with them. I also recommend OCC carving knives for general carving between flexcut and OCC tools those are in ny opinion are the best knives you can buy.I also purchased the flexcut slipstrop for my knives and gouges and will write a reveiw on it once I receive it. If anyone has any wuestions please ask away.

NO Good! You need a real chip carving set of ...
Got into chip carving to make a plaque for my son and daughter-in-law. Studied lots of videos, then needed to commit to a set of knives. I actually tried a cheap set of hobby knives from an craft store. NO Good! You need a real chip carving set of knives. I saw several sets that were over a hundred dollars, but wasn't ready to fork over that much. I saw this set and the mostly positive reviews, so I ordered. This is a great set of knives. The real key is to keep them razor sharp. Poor cutting otherwise. You should not be disappointed with these.
