Good packaging, you get all yhe necessary tools. But after closer look I've noticed scratches at the attachment points. Looks like it's been used. Other than that, haven't noticed any damages to the board yet. Will unpack it and if I don't see anything else, will try to install and test it on my device.[UPDATE] Even it has many signs of use, wire harness are not bent. And it actually works. My phone is charging with the cable now, which was the promary reason of the replacement. Microphone and headphones port also work well.

Once you get the glass off, the rest is easy!I patiently and cautiously heated (with a heat gun) the edges of the back glass. Eventually I could slide the pick in the side and work it around the edges. My only problem was the fact that my patience wore thin and I threw caution out the window! Yeah, I completely shattered the back glass! Oh well... had a beer and carried on! The rest was super easy... "ish".Those screws are super tiny and my fingers are super big. The new port is awesome tho and I honestly didnt care if I broke the back glass. I keep the phone in a case so it's fine for me. New glass is cheap, and easy to put on once you have the old one off.

Look at Ifixit website to understand how to open you phone. Once it's done, this little device saved my phone.

Fixed my Galaxy S8! Charging port was dead and this part did the job. However, if you are counting on the included tools to open the phone's rear cover you better think again. Included suction cup is absolutely useless! I ended up buying a real suction cup (iFixit Heavy Duty Suction Cups with Handles) ... that, a hair dryer, the blue guitar pick like tool included and a business card to cut through the sealant, did the job for opening the phone.

I purchased this after my 2 year old broke the charging port on my S8. The repair takes a while, but its not bad once you get the rear glass cover off. I definitely broke the glass cover during the process, but fortunately I ordered a replacement in advance of the repair after reading other reviews that suggested doing so. I also recommend searching for youtube videos that focus just on removing and reinstalling the rear glass cover. Some of the videos that focus on the charging port skip over some helpful tips regarding the back cover. After the repair everything works great.

It did NOT FIT in my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus as the seller said! I tried to make it fit, but in that process, it broke. Wasted money on the BLIND FAITH of this seller. That sucked!!
